Der Roller ist eigentlich prima: leicht, stabil, rollt gut - was will man mehr? Eine funktionierende Bremse zum Beispiel. Die nicht als Federbremse konzipierte sogenannte "Flex-Brake" ist nämlich derart starr, dass sie sich nur mit großem Kraftaufwand herunterdrücken lässt. Das funktioniert bei Erwachsenen mit Gewicht und Kraft, ein durchschnittliches 8-10jähriges Kind ist dafür zu leicht. Ergebnis: Bremsen ist unmöglich, leider aber nicht ganz unwesentlich. Daher nur zwei Sterne.

vielen Dank das du dir die Zeit genommen hast um eine Bewertung zu unserem Stuntscooter MF500 zu schreiben.
Bitte beachte, das es sich, wie der Name des Rollers schon sagt, um einen Stunt Scooter handelt. Die "Flex Brake" hat bei Stunt Scootern nicht die klassiche Rolle einer Bremse, sondern wird bei einigen Tricks dafür genutzt, die Rolle zu stabilisieren um das Gleichgewicht zu halten.
Das Bremsen wird ähnlich wie auf einem Skateboard ausgeführt. Ein Fuß befindet sich dabei auf der Standfläche des Scooters (Deck), der andere wird bis zum Stillstand, mit leichtem Druck auf den Boden gedrückt.
Solltest du trotzallem nicht mit dem Scooter zufrieden sein, kannst du ihn, wie meine Kollegin Maike schon anmerkte, in deiner nächsten DECATHLON Filiale umtauschen oder zurückgeben.

What is the difference between a freestyle scooter and a ”normal” scooter?
The differences between a freestyle scooter and a classic scooter are similar to those between a BMX bike and a city bike.A freestyle scooter has wider handlebars and smaller wheels (making it easier to handle). Its weight is also different (it is lighter) and it is more maneuverable. Since the aim is to do tricks, the handlebars can do a full turn, for example.Freestyle scooters are also more rigid and sturdy.
Choosing the right size freestyle scooter
To choose the right size freestyle scooter, stand on it and check that the handlebar comes up to hip level, your arms are stretched out, and your back straight.
What safety precautions should you take when doing freestyle?
You should always wear protective equipment (helmet, knee pads, and elbow pads) when scootering.Most serious accidents take place during the 1st few months of use: Spend time learning the basics so that you can control your speed and brake in emergency situations in all weather conditions (particularly on wet ground).
Why are there different wheel sizes?
100, 110, or 120 mm? The bigger the wheel's diameter, the more stability the rider will have, which helps them go faster... The downside is the weight.A bigger wheel will be heavier and harder to maneuver when doing tricks. The wheel size should therefore be chosen based on your aims.
