Shoes are nice with firm grips. Goods for indoor and outdoor activities for kids. Unfortunately I returned the product due to size. I recommend to buy one size large for growing kids as things get complicated after sometimes.

Sole grip

The grip of our soles is certified. To be awarded certification, the boots must pass laboratory tests to assess the grip rate (0.6 for this model) on different surfaces (Smooth, Rugged, Dry, Wet). To validate these tests, we also assess the quality of our soles on the field, in the mountains, by a panel of young testers.

Which size should you select?

For hiking, do not hesitate to buy 1 size larger than the usual size to guarantee excellent comfort on the descent and to avoid toes rubbing at the tip of the boot. Tip: Keep your toenails short, and before going downhill at any time, check that your laces are tight enough to stop your feet slipping down toward the front of the boots.

Buying tips

Allow kids to try on both boots, standing up, with the socks worn for hiking. Check 2 comfort points: the base of the heel and the front part of the foot going down. Avoid all pressure points when trying boots on. Gradually start using your boots during your first few hiking trips to break them in. You can find and print the pedometer and check the kid's foot length.

Removable insole

Removable insole for faster drying. It can also be replaced by an orthopedic insole.

Our environmental approach

Because we are aware that we must act to preserve our playground, Quechua is committed to limiting the environmental impact of its products. This product is now eco-designed, improving its environmental impact by at least 20% compared to the previous model thanks to the use of eco-designed or recycled components.

Product testing

Our design team is based at the foot of Mont Blanc, in Haute-Savoie (France). All year round, we create and develop products that are beautiful, simple, and technologically advanced. These are then ruthlessly tested in the field, as we remain convinced that only through rigorous testing under real world conditions, like the ones you will be using them in, can we continue to provide you with better products than ever.
