Excellent and spacious.

The backpack is built to give unbelievable balanced support. Very comfortable when you carry it for less than 7 hours. After that I started to feel a numbness in my left hand. Otherwise A great product for a very comfortable trek.

Ideal Backpack for 6-7 Days Trek

I have used this backpack for more than 5 treks ( average 6-7 days). I needed a backpack to fir properly. It has a great height adjustment feature. look wise its amazing product. water bottle holder is unique, very easy to take and put it back while trekking in the mountains. I kept my sleeping bag, mattress, tent, 2 pair of cloths, sandals, 2 water bottles, First Aid Kit, Fruits in this. I usually get blisters on my shoulders, thanks to this backpack, after 4 years I found a perfect fit & best support.

Average product

This product is good for casual hiking/Trekking (3-5 days) but not worth for professional trekking (Long treks). if weight exceeds more than 10-12 kgs, shoulder straps don't give the full comfort on your shoulders during the long hikes(8-10 hrs a day) after all the adjustments of bag. As per my experience after using this product for 4 weeks during exploratory treks in Uttaranchal, i feel that Shoulder straps should be better for such kind of professional trekking bags for greater comfort, rest all the things are good. Thanks

Costuras poco eficaces

Mochila utilizada intensivamente (camino Santiago).

Capacity

Extendible volume: 50 L + 10 liters extra thanks to the adjustable height of the bag top. The volume of each backpack is measured using a standardized method: we fill the main compartment as well as each pocket with little balls. The balls are then emptied into a graduated container in order to determine the equivalent volume in liters, with a margin of error of just a few %

Weight

4.4 lbs The empty weight shown is that of our reference sample. There may be slight variations

How to pack a backpack?

Put your bedding at the bottom. Carry heavy gear (tent, stove, food) closest to your back. Pack your clothes around these items. The groundsheet can be placed under the flap; the tent goes under the bag if it doesn't fit inside. Keep your waterproof jacket and fleece to hand. In the pockets, spread out the small equipment you use during the day (sun cream, map, sunglasses, etc). If carrying a hydration pack (water bladder), this should be placed in its special pocket along the back.

Why are our rain covers gray when some trekkers want them to be brightly colored?

The gray color used for the covers of our backpacking rucksacks is neutral because it consumes less dye. The component is made of BITON: this process allows us to lower our CO2 impact and reduce consumption and water pollution in comparison to colored models. These small measures demonstrate the commitment of Forclaz to improve the environmental impact of its products.

10-year warranty

Our engineers have carried out simulated aging tests on these backpacks. These tests were conducted on the components, the seams and the finished product. The results enable Forclaz to guarantee the tested bags for 10 years from the purchase date shown on the receipt

Product testing

All our backpacks are tested in the field by users who represent the target market under the same conditions as you would encounter in use. In particular, our "Mission Tests" bring together the product manager with people who are not affiliated with QUECHUA to test, improve and validate our products. This specific model was approved by hikers touring Mont Blanc in June 2017.
