For those unclear on the concept

This is probably the perfect hiking hat in my not so humble opinion. In the hierarchy of the Universe it is 1. The Creator, whoever or whatever that might be, and then 2. Me. Listen to me!!! The wool is dreamy soft and the hat does indeed stretch...a lot. If you are typical American body type this may not be your jam tbh, the stretch is not unlimited. The price for a wool hiking hat is unbeatable. It is packable. It is warm. It is a product designed for active people on the move who generate body heat through activity as evidenced in the product name What gave it away you might ask? It says it is a Hiking Hat. We are generally wanting things a little on the thin side since we start cold and warm up over the course of our excursions. I hope this review helps someone who is looking for a hiking hat.

Very thin

Way too thin. Unless you use it as liner under the hat.

Cool Beanie

I bought this to wear under a hard hat. It's thin, light and dries quickly. Also it's made of wool. It's thin, so it's not as warm as a knit cap, but for the thickness it does a good job.

Nice for the price

Somewhat tight to start, but will stretch to size.

Warm and thin

Comfy for sleeping in, cool nights, under a hood or hat. Like how small it is but also how warm. Long enough to pull over ears or fold up.

Trek Cap

Keeps the chill out without getting too hot.

Warm and light

It's superefficient keeping your head warm without making you swear as it's usually the case with tuques. Merino makes it odourless and comfy. However it's too thin to be fashionable beyond sports. Overall great yet nothing too fancy

Merino cap/beanie

Love it, soft, stays put alone or under hood/s. More colours please! I like everything plain coloured and go for patterned leggings/skirts mostly.

Beanie

Good for use for sleeping outdoors in a tent on cold nights
