Cheap tubeless tyres. Not a good buy

I bought these a few months ago as a trial of tubeless conversion on my MTB wheels. They went inflated easily on the rims just using a track pump, and stayed inflated with the appropriate tubeless sealant & rim tape. However only a few months into owner ship, and tears started to occur between the tread blocks and the tyre carcass, leading to a hole which the tubeless sealant started pouring out of... Not even a couple of 100km on the tyres, and they are fit for the bin...

I'm very sorry to read that there is a quality issue with this tyre.
Please feel free to return them to your local store for a replacement or a refund if they are faulty.

All Terrain 9 Speed 29x2.10 Stiff Bead Mountain B

Very unhappy with this purchase. The tyre is fitted to the rear wheel and rubs my brake cable. I have had the tyre on and off numerous times to check it was seated on the rim correctly which it is. It must just be a bad moulding. Makes the back wheel look severely buckled when in fact, the wheel runs true but the tyre is all over the place.

Indeed, you may well be correct. This is the first feedback we've had of this nature therefore I can only assume that it is a one off issue.
Please feel free to return it to us for a refund/exchange.

How to measure tire wear

To measure the wear on your tires and to know when they need replacing, you need to inspect the tread. The tread comes into direct contact with the terrain you are cycling on and therefore determines your tire's performance. A tire needs to be changed when the center knobs are worn down to the same height as the side knobs.

How to remove a tire

To remove your tire, first deflate the inner tube until no more air comes out. Once deflated, use a tire lever to remove the tire from the rim.

How to fit a tire

To put the tire back on, place one side of the tire into the bottom of the rim. Next, inflate your inner tube to approximately 30% before putting it into the tire (inflating it beforehand reduces the risk of pinching the inner tube). Then insert the other side of the tire into the rim, starting on the side opposite the valve. Before inflating the inner tube all the way, check to make sure it isn't pinched between the tire and rim.

How to inflate your tire correctly

Inflate your tire carefully. The recommended pressure is indicated on the side of your tire as well as on its product sheet (available online). Before each outing, make sure that your tires are at the correct pressure for your ride.

Tip from the pros

When inflating your tire, be sure to inflate it to the correct pressure for the terrain you will be riding on and especially the weather conditions. When riding in rainy weather, lower the tire pressure to increase the tire's traction. When riding in dry weather, you can increase the pressure for better performance.

Tubeless ready

This tire can also be used as a Tubeless tire (without inner tubes) when fitted to a Tubeless rim. Apply a special Tubeless liquid sealant to reduce the risk of punctures and improve air tightness. Preferably use a compressor or a high-pressure pump to inflate tubeless tires. Tubeless Ready optimizes grip and offers outstanding comfort.
