The fabric on the back of the hand is reinforced against abrasion and tearing.
User comfort
Pre-shaped fingers to fit the handlebar, palm reinforced with foam.

I know it is for mountain biking but I use it in the city, wherever I go, what ever I do. Snug fit for my size. It feels good now. I am not sure if it gets uncomfortable in a long ride or not. Better protection for fingers yet good ventilation. I think it will serve the purpose in the summer too.
I actually use these Mountain Bike Gloves for my road bike in winter. Good fit and very comfortable. Hard wearing and have not stretched.
Nice price and excellent quality. I use them everyday. the grip is nice, the mobility is great and I love I can use my cellphone
Poor quality. Holes appeared after about 4 rides maybe ok for road riding but definitely not good for MTB

I'm sorry to hear that you've had a poor experience with our mountain bike gloves. Our engineers have designed the seams to be tear resistant and the fabric on the back of the hand to hold up to vegetation. Could you provide some more information on where the holes have appeared so that we can feed back to the design team? Additionally, if you can bring the product to a store our team can check it and organise an exchange or refund for you.

These gloves are nice and I have been using them since 1 month now.. I like Decathlon alot. But I would really appreciate if you guys can get more locally sourced products. Almost 80% of the products are made in China

Only used them a couple of times so far but they are comfortable and provide good hand protection. They are good value.

I got one pair and had to return them because the snap broke but think they have fixed issue because new pair has a different snap.

Had for over a year now and used most days for commuting in warmer weather and they have lasted well. Very comfortable lightweight mtb gloves.
Affordable and value for money
Aren't very thick, so not sure how warm they'll be when weather turns, aren't fully wind proof. For the money i would have expected something more substantial.

Why wear mountain biking gloves in summer?
Mountain biking gloves are important for your safety - year round. Keeping your hands covered all the way to the fingertips is key to prevent scratches from vegetation, especially in the forest or on single tracks. What's even more important, when you fall, your reflex is to put your hands out to cushion yourself. Mountain biking gloves will reduce cuts and scrapes. Gloves are also there to dampen vibrations when riding.
A variety of fabrics
Our engineers and designers closely studied the points of contact with the hands when mountain biking. They chose: - a fabric that holds up to vegetation for the back of the hand. - a fabric that grips the handlebar grips on the underside of the hand. - silicone strips to grip the brakes (on 3 fingers, because that's all you need to brake). Certain areas like the palm are also reinforced while others are ventilated.

These ST 500 gloves are smartphone compatible. You can track your GPS routes, use your apps or take photos at any time with the touchscreen-friendly fabric on the fingertips.
Durable seams
The seams were specially designed to be tear-resistant.
Terry cloth for perspiration
Because mountain bikers perspire as much as tennis players, a small section of the thumb is made of terry cloth. It also comes in handy for runny noses.
