Love my new bag

This was bought for an overnight trip and definitely did the job. Lots of room for everything needed. Comfortable to carry and small enough for airline hand luggage

All in

Great for most activities. From food, water, clothes, beach towels, we can fit it all in for 2.

Does the job

I chose this over the more expensive daypack because it had a more padded hip belt and a less complicated main compartment closure. I therefore missed out on a rain cover and upper adjuster straps and I regret them both. The narrow profile is good and stable on my back. The strap padding is not luxurious but does the job under all but the heaviest load. Ventilation is good. The lower zip entry is useful. The black interior makes it hard to find stuff.

20L Mountain hiking backpack

Aiming to go lightweight and this pack at 850gms is heavier than I like, and the shoulder straps although well padded felt rough against my skin. Poor fit for my tall fame in the shoulder region, better fit for shorter broader male. Liked the colour way, the design concept and useful front pocket.

Good backpack for little hikes!

It has been only 3 months that I have my backpack but I did many hikes. Some was only to carry midlayers and others needed me to carry food and clothes. It all fit but only for a two day trip. I would recommand it for the people who wants to start backpacking for little hikes :)

Affordable and Amazing

I was reluctant to buy this product but to my amazement it was a well built backpack and the design is amazing! So I bought another one for mrs and now looking forward to use it on our hike. Unfortunately it is not waterproof but I can buy a cover not a problem.

Comfortable and lightweight

The straps are comfortable and clip together around the waist and under the bust so its really comfortable to wear as a woman. I haven't used it for hiking yet but its lightweight and the padding and shape of the back is comfortable to wear. The colour is nice without being too garish

Great value bag

I've used this bag on a few half day hikes so far. It's very comfy, the weight is well distributed so that it feels a lot lighter when it's on your back. The air cooling design is a great addition, as is the pocket on the waist strap. The only thing I can't work out is how to get the bite valve of the bladder tube through the slot it's meant to fit through, the slot is too small/valve too big but I can work around it

Impressed

Bought this for my 11yr old son to climb Snowdon. He found it comfortable and not to heavy. Didn't complain once. For the price it deserves the 5 stars. But I would pay a little extra to get a built in decent waterproof cover.

So comfortable

This is my first bag since I started walking/hiking. It is very very comfortable to the point that I forget I am wearing it. Ive been carrying 3 litres of water for me and the dog, dog bowls, rain jacket, first aid kit, food, extra layers along with all the normal stuff. I don't even notice that I'm lugging that up a hill. My shoulders do not ache. I like that attachment loops and that I put a towel on the strings at front which give me more space in the bag. I 100% recommend this bag.

Does the job you want it to.

Many compartments inside and around the rucksack making it very versatile.

Just purchased

Too early for me to comment objectively, however I'm pleased with my purchase as I think it offers a lot of features for the price. I will update once I have used the sack.

Laboratory test

We conduct laboratory tests to validate the components: fabrics, buckles, straps, foam padding, zippers, etc. I.e. for a fabric: resistance to wear, tearing, washing, water-resistance & colorfastness under UV rays. Then a test on the finished product that simulates the kind of treatment to which it will be subjected over several years, to assess the strength of the assembly: the backpack is weighted & placed on a dummy, which then reproduces the movement of fast walking over thousands of cycles.

10-year warranty, technical partnership

The heavy fabric research and development department, Quechua's partner for researching and testing its components and assemblies, conducted tests simulating the aging of backpacks. These tests were conducted on the components, seams, and finished product. Quechua uses the results to guarantee the bags tested for a period of 10 years, starting from the date of purchase indicated on the receipt.

10-year warranty, conditions

The warranty covers the defects of the backpack, excluding those resulting from normal wear and improper use. This special 10-year warranty is only valid on presentation of the product and receipt. If the product is covered by the warranty, it will be repaired or exchanged free of charge. This commercial warranty does not exclude applicable legal warranties depending on the country and/or State.

How is volume measured?

The volume of each backpack is measured using a standardized method: We fill the main compartment as well as each pocket with little balls. Then we empty these balls into a graduated container, which gives the equivalent volume in liters.

How to adjust your backpack?

1 - Loosen all the straps (shoulder straps, belt, load adjuster straps). 2 - Put the backpack on. 3. - For bags of 50 L and more, place the strap on your hips (it should cover the hip bones of the pelvis) and tighten it. For smaller backpacks, the belt should be placed around the waist. 4 - Tighten the shoulder straps. 5 - Adjust the load adjuster straps as needed.

How to pack a backpack?

Put your bedding at the bottom. Place the heavy equipment close to your back. Pack your clothes around these items. Keep your waterproof jacket and/or fleece at hand. In the pockets, place the small equipment that you use during the day (sunblock, map, sunglasses, etc.). The water pouch should be placed in the specially designed compartment normally found along the back of the bag.

Environmental measures
