This is reliable running shoes... Built so tough it can really endure various terrain with out worry of breaking and wearing out quikly...
You would have to spend double to get a branded shoe that peforms as well as these shoes. They are brilliant. They are now on just over 100k and have made my speedcross 3’s redundant. Whoever designed these shoes understands trail running.
Bought these as an emergency purchase after I couldn't break in my Oasics no matter how hard I tried. With one week before an extreme coastal marathon ( ended up being 28 miles) I was desperate. These were amazing straight from the shop and have been my go to trail shoe for the last year. Their awesome traction has coped with everything from dry scree to steep grassy slopes and mud. They are very light and comfortable and don't look out of place amongst the top end brands. The build quality is not as good as some others and the fabrics feel thinner although no less supportive. I've put some heavy use on mine in the last 12 months with numerous trail marathons and halves not to mention a few races across Dartmoor and over beaches and they are only now giving up the ghost. Still at £5 a month they are amazing value. Glad to see Decathlon still make them as that is what I'm going to buy to replace them. Highly recommended.
This is my second pair of Kiprun MT. I have used it previously in TransJeju 111K last year in 2018 and still currently using it to train at Bukit Timah Hill, be it rain or shine. A great pair of shoes to go for long or easy runs.

Good support and with “studded” sole for grip on uneven surfaces. Look good as casual dress gear
Nice grippy shoes but a little narrow in fit
I used these runners to trek The Kokoda Trail having previously run in them for a couple of months since purchase. I couldn’t be happier with how they performed in the most rigorous of conditions and will be purchasing another pair to run in a couple of OCR’s
These shoes do very well what is needed. Good design features like the lace pocket, big lugs for grip and plenty of cushioning. Easy to clean. These lasted a year and now 2nd set so brilliant.
Good shoes so far. Very supportive and comfortable fit.
fantastic shoe straight from the box, will be ordering another pair shortly
I have just made a similar review for the XT7. Keen fell runner and mountain marathoner, purchased 2 pairs of Kalenjis at the same time. The xt7 and the MT at start of Jan 19. I was quite excited to try them having previously stuck with big name brands Inov8, Salomon New Balance etc and am a big fan of Decathlon for other products, run and cycle wear. I had some snag issues with the XT7 which are in my other review around plantar pain (sole of foot) that I don't get with my other shoes like inov8 roclite etc, Salomon Fell raiser. It's caused me a big issue. I wore my MT for first time at weekend (wanting to try them and wanting them to work!) upshot is the pain caused by wearing the XT7 hasn't been helped by the Mt and although not as bad is still there, if I wear my inov8s there is no issue. So there is something in the design of the Kalenjis. What's good about the MT. Nice wide toe box. Good construction stitching etc. Appear robust. But as per the XT7 these are no good for me. Very disappointed having taken a chance and buying 2 pairs. Both consigned to the cupboard and a waste of money unfortunately.
Having owned various pairs of trail running shoes for OCR and other trail type workouts I am really impressed with these shoes. The grip is awesome and I love the chunky soles that really grip the ground. If you are looking for a trail shoe and don't want to spend silly money on the 'market leaders' this is an awesome shoe with superb grip and they are so comfy. Looking forward to hitting some OCR courses in them over the coming months.
I was really struggling with knee issues while running having treated myself to a top brand pair of shoes. Physio recommended a change. I went for these. They have changed my life for the better! Thanks. Great pair of trail shoes.
Excellent trail shoe. Great grip .
Really disappointed in these. OK grip and cushioning but can feel every pebble through them on rougher tracks. Not a very stable platform, my road shoes are as good, apart from the grip!
