Ideal jersey

If your on the slightly larger size this is ideal - few pounds of extra weight over lockdown and fits ideally. Definitely worth the money

Very good top

Does have pocket for phone But not to big for a modern day smart phone Apart from that very good top I've purchased another since Red/black top

Pointless Pockets

Love the Material and Fit but not sure of the point of any of the pockets. On the left side I can barely get my fingers in nevermind a cereal bar, on the right side my keys won't fit in the designated key pocket (they only just fit in the designated phone pocket), my phone won't fit in the designated phone pocket, and the largest pocket is a half pocket that as soon as you turn your body or bend over whatever is in the pocket falls out. It's such a shame the pockets are infuriating as the material and fit are excellent

Highly recommended

Great value for money

Quality jersey

Nice fit, would have given it another star but pockets a bit small

Nice design but awful features

Despite a very cool look, this jersey was a complete wast of money, due to the not only pointless, but often detrimental features: the waterproof pocket for the phone is lined in plastic, not breathable at all, so in the warm days (this is a summer jersey) , I ended up with a sweaty and unpleasant patch on my back, and the phone inside protected in the remote case of the rain (not very common in summer, is it?) but very damp from sweat and my perspiration. So not only useless, but annoying because the plastic patch is still there even if I no longer put the phone there. On the other side there are 3 super-tiny pockets, useful only if you have 3 of those energy gels. In any other case, if like me you use the jersey to go to work or occasional rides, they are completely useless. The key pocket would just about fit 1 key, but not with key-ring. Shame because I really like the look of it, the colours etc...but after using it for a couple of weeks in warm weather I decided this was the opposite of what I needed for summer cycles to work: a very bad purchase.

I'm sorry to read that you were not satisfied with this top.
The pocket for the phone needs to be watertight from the outside to protect the hone from mud splashes when riding. Indeed, the downside is the act that it attracts perspiration. But it is the lesser of two evils when riding and unfortunately is a trade off. If the phone was in a waterproof pouch, it too would create a perspiration patch on you back. The road version of this jersey has larger pockets as roadies carry more items with them and may be more suitable for your daily commute. Many MTB'ers use a backpack or more recently a bum bag seem to be growing in popularity.

Brilliant top

This really does keep you cool in hot weather. Sits comfortably on long rides and has loads of movement. The long zip is appreciated, as is the silicone strips on the arms (and they really do protect against brambles). At £20, you can't go wrong. As with most Decathlon clothes, you'll want to go a size up or two (unless you're a 20-something gym bunny). Being XL and preferring a loose fit, I found 3XL a better fit than 2XL.

Great quality jersey

Really impressed with the cut and quality of the jersey. Very comfortable and light to wear. The only snag for me is the pocket positioning tends to make gels/bars fall out of the pockets, but I am riding a road bike so my position is different than MTB. Other than that I am very pleased with it so far.

Very goid quality and great colours

Very nice jersy i wear it during most cycling activites including riding for uber eats. I wish it also had a long sleeve version and the rear pockets are removed/changed so they dont dig into your back.

Everything in reach!

The new pocket system on your jersey allows you to carry everything you need as you ride... and get to it easily: - On the back right-hand side: 1 secure water-repellent pocket for your smartphone, accessible with a single hand even with gloves! - In the center of the back: 1 secure zip pocket for your keys and documents... - 3 small side pockets for your cereal bars. - 1 multipurpose pocket: windproof jacket, inner tube, empty packets!

A durable and perhaps irresistible jersey.

A handy jersey so you can make the most of the tracks on your MTB tours. In addition to its durable fabric, the ST 500 jersey is equipped with silicone strips: - On the sleeves, which are the most exposed part, to resist branches and vegetation and to prevent catching. - On the torso to resist abrasion from the straps of your camel pack and ensure a long lifetime.

A cut that breathes and protects

And to help you ventilate and quickly wick perspiration, your jersey has very well-ventilated fabric on the entire back where you sweat the most. And on the front, the easy-to-use zip means you can open and close your jersey with a single hand. The bib at the bottom of the back goes down to your shorts even when you bend over your handlebars. What about the pockets? These are located in places that aren't exposed when you fall!

The story of this mtb jersey

Behind this product lies a team of 5 people, 18 months of design, studies, feedback, and tests in France and Italy with over 30 MTBers. And there was also a decision: the decision to create for you a jersey that can hold all the belongings you need to carry when on your MTB. Whether they're heavy, fragile, or must not be lost. Which is why we're incredibly proud to present this jersey, which can store everything you need without limiting your freedom of movement!

Advice from our product manager

Since your jersey has so many handy pockets, Daniele, our product manager, has some tips to help you fill them! "When MTBing, remember to take cereal bars or energy gel. As for how much, that depends on the length of your ride and how hard it is. You can carry up to 3 bars in your jersey. You can also carry your mobile phone in the pocket that can be accessed with a single hand to check your route or take photos. It's very practical!"
