Product Customer Reviews

I use them everyday at work, very happy.
Got these for my husband and he loves them. Very comfortable and amazing value for the price
Very Good product 👌
Proper for walking but you need to replace the sole with other soft ones.
Have bought about 8 pairs of these over the last few years - look great and super light and comfortable. Only minor downside as the same for any man made boots - can start to smell after a while!
I bought these because they looked fine and were the cheapest model in the range of walking boots at Decathlon. Why pay more, I thought. My optimism has been realised. I have walked many miles and am very pleased. I aim to take them with me when I go skiing. I may attach boot grips, also available at Decathlon, for walking on snow and ice at the resort.
nice and price excellent
Bought these to do a charity walk up snowdon, not recommended for this activity bit a lot of reviews have stated they bought for this sole purpose, I would not recommend them to even walk about the house in they are difficult to put on have started to fall apart after 8x wearing them once up snowdon the other walks locally pavements grass ect. They feel like they are made from cardboard you can feel everything you walk across through the sole they are so thin you can wring them out like a cloth spend the extra few quid
Bought as a replacement before my current boots wear out, same as I have just bought and have been brilliant as used for work doing an average of 14k steps every day on mostly gravel paths. Extremely comfortable
Look, they arent gonna keep you feet dry, however for simple walks with the dog they are good for the price.
I bought these almost a year ago and have been using them as 5 days a week work boots 🥾, apart from a small rub through near the tongue they are fantastically comfortable and mostly waterproof unless you stand in water that breaches the laces. Will be buying again highly recommend
I tried these after using the shoe version for the last few years. I needed new walking boots after the last pair of expensive boots from Go Outdoors wore out within 20 miles. Have to say that I am NOT disappointed with these boots. They’re recommended for light use, but I’ve used them for months to go hiking and walking without any issues whatsoever! The soles are on the thin side, but an insole would help cushion your feet. I don’t know about the negative reviews here, but they’re great quality for how much they are. I have size 12 feet, and the Decathlon sizings are on the small side, so I had to go for the 12.5 instead. I have wide feet too and these don’t pinch my feet or make them uncomfortable to wear for long periods. I will definitely be buying more of these!
At £19.99 I wasn't expecting much, but these boots really are good. Wore them climbing Snowdon in the wind and rain and they performed amazingly. I'd recommend getting some additional insoles, but they are only around £5 on here.
Wanted a pair of lightweight boots for summer hiking. Normally wear Meindl Vakums. These £19.99 boots are every bit as comfortable as £300 meindls. Yeah, the sole is thin, they are a lightweight boot. They feel more like active trainers, and what’s more they look great. The fit is snug so still feels supportive but not tight. I have very low arch’s and the shoe allows my foot to spread. 100% I would and will be buying another pair.
Had to go back for another pair as they were just that good

Grippy soles on natural footpaths
The sole’s design is the result of long research carried out in our labs. It is composed of a specific rubber formula that optimizes grip and resistance. Since not all needs are the same, we are always looking for the best solution to develop on loose country trails (unpaved forest paths) and mineral trails (like a coastal path).
Designed for use on country trails
Our hiking boots are designed for use on off-road trails. Indeed, we choose the components of the sole and upper of our boots and test them to ensure that they are ideally suited to hiking on loose trails (e.g. unpaved forest paths) or rocky trails (e.g. rocky coastal paths). Road use (asphalt) may lead to premature wear on your boots and cause discomfort. They are not suitable for mountain hiking.
Laboratory tested
Laboratory tests were conducted to test the following elements: attachment of eyelets and webbing, assembly, toxicology, UV resistance, sole and upper component abrasion, accelerated aging. These tests allow us to improve the quality of our products and prevent premature wear of our hiking boots.
How to choose the right size hiking boots
Try on both boots, standing up and wearing the socks you use for hiking. Try on several models or sizes if necessary. Check 2 comfort points: - the heel seating - the front of the foot on a downward slope Avoid any pressure points when fitting. Feel free to walk around the store. Gradually start using your boots during your 1st few hiking trips to break them in.
The shoe/sock combination plays an important role
There are numerous causes of blisters when hiking: rubbing, a crease in the sock, moisture, a shoe size that is too small or too big, etc. It is therefore important to choose the right size and to have socks made of the right material for your hiking boots.
How to choose the size of your hiking socks
You need to choose the correct sock size for your feet to avoid any extra folds forming on the sock: These folds may form because the sock is too big and therefore there is too much material around your foot, or because the sock so small and is pulled toward the inside of your foot.
How to choose the fabric of your hiking socks
You need to manage moisture as best you can when hiking: You will sweat; it is often inevitable. If your boot is breathable, it will wick away moisture from your perspiration. It is therefore necessary to choose a light and breathable sock as well. If your boots are relatively waterproof, you will not make the same choice to protect you from the moisture of the rain: You should prefer socks that will absorb your perspiration and then wick it away from your foot.
Which pair of socks goes well with the nh100 mid boots?
These boots are slightly breathable, but not enough to evacuate all humidity created by your perspiration. Therefore, you should opt for the NH500 Mid socks. they contain moisture-absorbing cotton and have a reverse terry-knit construction under the sock that wicks moisture away from your foot. They are high enough to protect your ankle from the boot. It is an excellent combination to reduce the chance of blisters.

Product testing
It’s in France, at the foot of Mont Blanc, that our design team conceives, designs, and creates Quechua products. We test them in the field with other hikers, to check their comfort and durability. The Forest of Fontainebleau or in Brittany, for example. We go to as many different places as possible, in all weather conditions. This creates plenty of opportunities for discussions to get your feedback, which is used to plan our future products!
Storage instructions
We recommend you store your boots in a dry, dark, and, if possible, ventilated place.
