This is the second pair of these I’ve purchased but oddly they weren’t the same quality as the first pair despite being the same model and the only obvious difference was the colour. I found the battery was only lasting 2-3 hours rather than 4+ and the volume was lower. Also didn’t always charge when connected to micro usb - had to keep checking which was inconvenient. Overall not bad for occasional use but not great in a noisy gym or with loud road noise.
Purchased my second set of these earphones because they fit well, were lightweight, and worked well for my commute, but the first set had a problem that the inner lining of the earpiece came off. Unfortunately, my second set has the same problem, and the battery life deterioriated greatly after I forgot it on the charger overnight. It has also now developed a fault where it randomly stops working! I would have returned it if the store was open, but now my year is up and it seems I'm stuck with a partly working device. This product would have been perfect if it lasted, but I find it hard to recommend given two bad experiences.
Had the black version. Stopped working with no warning after a few weeks.Wouldnt charge or respond. Replaced with no quibble .Now replacement set has done the same. No charge and wont play
I wanted wireless earphones to wear while walking or cycling, but these were completely inaudible outside. Thank you to Decathlon for refunding me without quibbling.

Hi, I have found these decent, but the rubber slip over bud part Stretches over time (in my case a few weeks) becomes loose and falls off. I resorted to using the smaller size, but have now lost another one, meaning my earphones are now useless. Is it possible I can order replacement rubbers?
Biggest waste of £25 I usually rave about decathlon products but this one is truly awful, even the smallest ear fittings don't make any kind of reasonable seal, sound quality is atrocious, all round honestly just bad , so many better products for the price.

Very poor fit meaning that sound quality is compromised and you end up turning up volume excessively but still miss the depth in music. The hardware appears fine (like sounds good if pressed against ear) but the ear inserts are awful.
Very poor music quality. Don't even enjoy listening to music, useless.

Sound quality: It is important during running that the outside environment such as cars can be heard. The designers therefore chose an "open" design for the earphones. This means that, unlike in-ear headphones, the small silicone skirt at the end of the ear tips does not penetrate inside your ears but arises at the entrance to the ear canal and lets some outside noise pass through. This has the effect of limiting the depth of the bass. This is a subject that the team are actively working on to offer you the best of both worlds in our future products.

Was dubious when I bought these that they wouldn’t stay in my ears whilst out running, but surprised that they do. Sound good too. Can’t go wrong at the price also.
I have been using this Decathlon Earphones 3/4 times per week for the last 8 months. You can barely notice that you're wearing them except for the music you're listening to. They do not move even when you make sudden movements. The connectivity with the device, either watch or phone is very fast. The battery could last a little longer, however the charging time is very short. It is a great product at an unbeatable price.
Good headphones for running. Though a little on the quiet side. Which is good for listening for cars etc.
I brought these earphones online via Decathlon website, for its Bluetooth, wireless, water and sweat resistance. At the time of purchase the ONear came in a luminous Yellow. I thought this would be a good colour to be found if the earphones were to be dropped on the floor. Delivery to store for collection was ready to collect with in 3 days from ordering. The earphones in your hand felt light, plugged in for a charge and was ready with in 40 mins. I then went for a run the next day, for about 45 mins. The earphones connected to bluetooth quickly to my Samsung galaxy S8. The earphones were comfortable in the ear and did not come out, and its was great to adjust the lead at the back of head. The music was clear and did not cut out nor lose connection. Easy to adjust volume to low on left ear piece, when on the road in order to hear vehicles coming. When switching off the earphones, it told me the battery level, which was high from 45 min usage. Which is a pro, as i know to charge or not before the next run. I would say from looking and handling these earphones that they are robust and light. I have yet to use the answering and speak capabilities for incoming calls. I give 5 stars, because I have been happy with the products performance. Will update again to see if it last the 5 to 6 hour battery life before the next charge.

What makes sports earphones different from standard earphones?
When you run, your whole body moves. Your earphones need to be perfectly stable in your ears. You sweat when you run, so your earphones need to be resistant to perspiration. And you need to keep a good perception of outside noises. These 3 different needs guided our choices throughout the design of the ONear 500 sports earphones.
No more moving around while you run!
In order to make your ONear 500 Bluetooth earphones perfectly stable in your ears:- The silicone buds were designed with wing tips which fit into your ears. The earphones are thus stabilized, without causing discomfort. 3 sizes of tips are supplied.- An adjustable cable connects the 2 earpieces and goes over your ears to ensure a good fit. Adjustable length that doesn't shift while you're running.
Gentle on your ears
We selected soft, flexible silicone for the buds of the earphones that fit in the ears. We were also particularly attentive to the shape of the buds: 2 wing tips hold the earphones in place and distribute the weight of the earphones (only 0.6 oz) across your 2 ears. We designed the buds so they don't enter your ear canal so you don't feel any pressure.
A flexible ear loop
The ear loops on other sports earphones are stiff. The cable used on the ONear 500 bluetooth earphones links the 2 earpieces like an ear loop. This creates a flexible ear loop that adapts to the shape of your ears. No rigid material sticks into your ears. For optimal hold, don't forget to adjust the cable with the slide!
Neither rain nor sweat will be a problem!
When it's hot and you are running, you will sweat. You're caught unaware by a rain shower. ONear 500 earphones resist water and perspiration. We have chosen watertight earphones. A watertight membrane has been fitted beneath the buttons. And each earphone is assembled by ultra-sound. These earphones passed the IPX4 water resistance test. Once your run is over, keep your ONear 500 earphones away from moisture in a dry environment.
But where is the remote control now?
Most bluetooth earphones are controlled by your phone, in a pocket or armband (for changing volume, taking a call etc.). The remote control is often on the cable, which can cause instability. To avoid that, we have built the remote control and microphone of the ONear 500 directly in the earpieces. This avoids the moving cable causing interference when you're running. The buttons are also much more accessible.
An extension of your phone!
These are all the functions you can control with your ONear 500:- adjust the volume (press the Volume +/- buttons)- pause your music (press the Play button)- skip to the next track (press the Play button twice)- answer a call (press the Play button)- reject a call- hang up (press the Play button)- Open Siri or Google Voice (press and hold the Volume+ and Volume- buttons for 2 secs)
Switch on and you're connected!
We prefer to keep things simple! We have simplified the process for connecting your ONear 500 earphones. Just turn on the earphones and go into the Bluetooth settings of your phone to start searching for a Bluetooth device. Click on “ONEAR500” and you're done! The next time, your phone will automatically connect to your earphones, as long as they are switched on and close by. Don't forget to turn on your phone's Bluetooth ;-)
Bluetooth reception as good as your music!
There is nothing more annoying than your music cutting out. That will happen if the bluetooth reception is not good enough. We paid particular attention to the quality of the ONear 500 antennae so that never happens. And since you might be running in the gym, we have ensured that the range can reach up to 33' when unobstructed.
