Pleasantly surprised

Bought the trail running torch as getting darker at an earlier time, now that it is winter. Doing a google search, the torches being sold were too expensive for my budget, and so decided to look at Decathlon. The torch is strong and I like using the flashing mode as it provides for visibility and being seen.

head light

its good but first impression that the battery is seperate on the back and attached with a wire to the front is a bit annoying.

Light is brilliant so far

Brilliant head torch, and well worth the money

I needed a head torch for running as I only had old Petzl ones for hill walking. All I can say is that for the size and lumens this is amazing. It provides more than enough light for running off-road or walking, comfortable on and doesn’t move when running. The light unit is adjustable so can be angled and has three modes. A great purchase

Good value

While this doesn't have the brightness or battery life of more expensive lamps, for the price it's very good. It sits comfortably on the head without moving, even on technical trails. Only criticism is that it doesn't show obstacles such as tree routes very well, but for shorter runs over non-technical trail or just as a back up (or to meet mandatory gear requirements) it's a good option if you don't want to spend too much.

Good but not bright enough for serious trails

I've had this for a year and it's been a comfortable and reliable head torch. I find it good for running on well maintained local trails. The beam is very focused so you don't get much in the way of "ambient" light. On easy, hard packed trails that's not a problem. But on more technical trails, like in the Peak District, it's much more difficult to avoid rocks, etc. But if you want to run around town or on easy trials I'd recommend it.

Great head torch

Love this head torch. Having the battery pack at the back is so good. You don't feel like your head is weighed down. The two brightness settings are very good Used for running and very happy with this.

Can't turn it on

Tried new batteries but still nothing. Can't find any manual online. Tried holding the button down. Tried multiple presses. Surely i can't be that unlucky that it's faulty on arrival?

Hello Nickolaj,

Sorry to hear that this head torch is not working for you. Normally once the batteries are in place you should only need to press and release the on button for it to work. If you continue to experience this problem then please visit your nearest store or contact our customer loyalty to team to arrange an exchange

Great for dog walking too

Works Well

Bought for partner who went out in the dark last night for a walk, and was chuffed at how useful it was. He walked up the old railway line and said he could see a good 5 to 6 foot circular ahead of him which is very handy in the pitch black of the countryside. He loves it.

lightweighter and long lasting

this is the second of these torches we have bought. The first recharged via mini USB, this model now uses 3xAAA batteries. Both have pros and cons depending on if you are somewhere that it can be recharged or not! Haven't yet fully challenged the battery life of this one so can't comment on how long it will last, but potentially more useful being able to just carry spare batteries if off grid for more than a week or so.

A perfect ally for your trail runs on any terrain...

In trail running, just staying on your feet is a challenge at every stride, and that's why this head lamp guarantees you visibility with a choice of 3 modes: - A high mode (100 lumens) lights your way 200' in front of you so you can avoid roots and thorns on the paths. - An eco mode (45 lumens), with a 100' range, ideal to save battery life on terrain that's not too tricky. - A flashing mode to indicate your presence. In short, it's one of the essentials for trail running!

Battery life: better too much than not enough

The perfect partner for your short-distance to 12.5-mile trail runs, this head lamp saves you from any unpleasant surprises. With 10 h of battery life in high mode (100 lumens) and 30 h of battery life in eco mode (45 lumens), you can probably do a few more miles before your 3 LR03-AAA batteries (supplied with purchase) run out, don't you think?

Features designed for trail running comfort

Bet you love the little things that make the difference... So do we! The ONNIGHT 100 lumens head lamp features 2 comfortable headband straps, a central one and a side one, which you can adjust to fit your head. The cherry on the cake? These headbands are even removable and washable!

A waterproof product, classed ipx4

With a waterproof classification of IPX4, your 100 lumens head lamp can withstand any weather conditions: it was born ready. The concrete proof of that is that it passed the Tropical Shower challenge (for 5 minutes minimum) with flying colors. It even survived getting sprayed by multiple water jets from 360° around. Now that's something! So, are you ready to place your trust in this lamp, and, even more importantly, in yourself?

Lots of little extras

On top of its many qualities, and to crown the whole thing off, this head lamp has an infinite number of potential uses: Hiking, cycling or walking excursions, mountain biking, camping (you can even slip the battery onto the side to make it more comfortable to sleep with), etc.In short, this essential trail running tool does the job - every job - and with relish!

Parts for the 100 lumens head lamp are available for up to 2 years after purchase at your local store workshop. What about all the DECATHLON products? They have a 2-year warranty!

Product testing

Tested and approved by both beginner and seasoned trail runners, this 100 lumens head lamp is universally appreciated in the so-called short distances trail running sector.
