These balls are truly silent but usless as ping pong balls as they do not bounce .I am at a loss as to why decathalon stock them or continue to sell them.They must have never tested them but agreed to a large amount.

This ball is designed first for users who want to play silently indoor (in an appartment or in an office) for enjoying, learning ping ping and starting soft challenges, mainly without spin.
We know, thanks to our tests with users, that the performances in terms of rebond, spin and speed are quite different than an academic ball, so I can understand your unsatisfaction in case you were looking for these advantages.
I advise you to return your product to your Decathlon store to exchange or have you pay back.

Achtung: Springen aber deutlich anders ab als normale Tischtennisbälle. Schonen aber gerade abends sicherlich die Nerven der Nachbarn...

Ich bin Trainerin im Kinder- und Jugendbereich für Tischtennis. Ich nutze die Bälle zum Einstieg in die Sportart und zum Üben der Ballkontrolle (Schlägertippen). Aber auch zum Spaß für die Fortgeschrittenen. Die Bälle sind weich und daher sehr langsam. Es fordert heraus, sie mit Spin oder Schuss über einen großen Tisch zu spielen. Optimal sind sie aber für den Freizeitbereich. Ich empfehle, sie auf einem Mini-Tisch zu spielen.

Sie sollen in erster Linie für den privaten Gebrauch das geräuscharme Spielen ermöglichen. Gleichzeitig sind die Bälle durch ihr Gewicht etwas windresistenter. Sie stellen aber auf jeden Fall eine coole Abwechslung für Fortgeschrittene Spieler dar mit hohem Spaßfaktor. :D

Wir haben die Bälle für unsere Katze geholt. Sie spielt sehr gerne damit. Wir haben Fließen, also war das Spielen mit "normalen" Plastikbällen nicht so toll für unsere Nachbarn. Mit diesen Softbälle ist unsere Katze sehr glücklich und unsere Nachbarn auch, da sie nichts mehr hören. Außerdem hat unsere Katze gelernt, die Softbälle in den Mund zu nehmen und sie durch die Wohnung so zu transportieren. Also dafür kann ich das Produkt weiterempfehlen. Wie es für Tischtennis funktioniert kann ich nicht sagen.

Man kann mit diesen Bällen nicht richtig Tischtennis spielen. Es sind eher Universalbälle.

Genauso haben wir uns das vorgestellt. Die Bälle sind für unsere Zwecke super, lassen sich klasse spielen, und kein Nachbar kriegt Zustände, da man einfach fast nichts hört. Klasse, holen wir jetzt immer !
Die Farben sind lustig, ich hatte aber schon bessere Bälle. Allerdings sind sie für das leichte Spiel echt gut geeignet.
Las usamos para jugar a ping-pong en la mesa del comedor y no se oyen absolutamente nada. No botan tanto como las reglamentarias y por lo tanto mejor para jugar con niños.

Cumplen perfectamente con el cometido para el que fueron diseñadas, además son resistentes.
No botan y no son redondas, se deforman y tienen una malformación de fábrica, un pico que sale de todas ellas.
