I bought this for my school and the kids have been using it everyday. Well built and easy to put together.
This is an amazing basketball basket. We purchased it for our primary school as a year 6 leavers gift. All the kids are thrilled with it and have all said they want one for home. Really pleased.
My son is delighted with the basketball basket set. It was straightforward to build, instructions easy to follow. It is top heavy so be aware, before the base is filled. Well made, sturdy piece of kit
can somebody please reply to me, we cannot get the spring on with the backboard and hoop is it still possible to play without it?
The backboard frame already started to rust after it is up only for 3-4 months.
I bought this to replace an old broken smaller basketball net and it doesn’t disappoint. It’s a great quality net, will last us for years with the quick and easy height adjustment. The only gripe is the build which took several hours. Makes it look so easy in the video and although this was really useful, there were a couple of stages where it was really hard. The beams connecting the pole to the base didn’t fit well at all and it took a lot of effort to get in place and mounting the backboard on the pole was also really hard.
Good quality net. Decathlon have an online video giving a step by step view of how to put it together plus a clear instruction manual with number coded fittings. That was brilliant. Tip - If you have the same tools as the guys on the video it will make setting it up even easier. Perfect net for older teenagers. Well done Decathlon.
A tricky but doable build very good quality worth the extra
'Best Christmas present ever' was my son's own words. Package is large and heavy and set up a bit challenging but well worth the effort.

Using it for a month and I am very happy with it. Solid, a good feel of quality and satisfying rebound on plexiglass. Very good advising sales staff (thank you Ronnie - Decathlon TKO) The lowest height setting is actually higher than the mentioned 2.40m (I measured it as 2.58m which makes dunks a bit more challenging). I have triple checked and I still do not see how 2.4m setting could be set. The highest setting is actually 3.02m (so not exactly 3.05m, anyway WAY too high for me to dunk). For installation, if you have a 3/4 inch ratchet wrench, that will make it faster to complete. Now, let see how it handles the tropical humidity and sun of Hong Kong - 2 years warranty ahead of me!

A little hard to assemble as u need the right tools. Besides that it is perfect for training. It is very stable and rigid if u fill it with water.
It is very perfect for beginners to learn basketball at door step. Even pro players can use it for shooting practice. Very steady and easy to install.
Nice product but not worth it I didn't got any help from the technicians and it took me 3 hours to assemble
Since we are using this in Malaysia (tropical, heavy rain, humid) I was really worried about leaving it outdoor, since the humidity would easily make the parts rusty. Thanks to the wheels, after playing I can keep the unit under the garage roof to avoid rain/heavy rain of course. So far all the painted parts are still good looking, no rusts on the painted metallic. The only rusty part would be hollow inside that are not painted but it's not really a problem. So far so good!

The B700 basketball hoop has been subjected to multiple validation tests. Following these and other tests by our engineers, we're proud to offer you a five-year warranty on our B700 basketball hoop.The five-year warranty covers defects (excluding normal wear and tear, scratches, discolouration, corrosion as well as drops or abnormal use) of the hoop. It will only be given upon presentation of the receipt. Under this warranty, we will exchange defective parts.
What height basket should you choose?
The official height of a basketball basket is 3.05m (rim height).If you want a basketball basket for your child, you need something that will grow with them. For younger kids there isn't an official height so you can choose whatever suits them best.Up to the age of 10, club baskets are set at 2.60m. After the age of 10, both girls and boys play with 3.05m baskets.
Should you weigh it down with water or sand?
Most basket bases can be weighted with water or sand (see product instructions).Sand is denser than water and so the same volume will be heavier: your basket will therefore be more stable (but harder to move). Water can also freeze in winter and break the plastic base if the temperature drops too low, or leak out through hidden cracks.We recommend weighing down your base with sand to be safer.
What precautions should you take in strong winds or storms?
To prevent any accidents or breakage in the event of storms or strong winds (>60 kph), we highly recommend laying the basketball hoop down on the ground. The bigger the board, the more it will catch the wind, particularly when it is in its higher positions.Don't take any risks.If you live in a very windy area, you can also add additional ballast to your basket's base.You can also fix it to the floor using the accessories provided.
How should you care for your basketball basket?
We recommend cleaning your basketball basket with a damp sponge and some soap. Rinse in fresh water.If your product has protective foam on the post, remember to store it inside in winter.We recommend using a cover to protect the backboard from rain and frost.
What ball should you use?
The ball size depends on the player's age and sex.Toddlers: sizes 1 to 3.Girls and boys under 10: size 5.Girls aged 10 and up, women, and boys aged 10 to 12: size 6.Boys over 12 and men: size 7.If you want a very durable ball, go for a rubber ball. If you want a ball with a good feel, leather or synthetic are the right materials.
Can the tarmak basketball hoops and boards be used on public courts?
Our baskets are designed for private use (family, friends).They are not designed for the heavy use associated with public and club courts.
