Outshock Punching Bag Wall Bracket

Excellent bracket holds the outshock bag from here really well. Shame it doesn’t come with the complementing nut and bolt assembly. Had to follow other reviews recommending M8 RAWBOLTS. So let’s give you some more helpful insight as that review was missing this. M8 requires 14mm drill bit, the flange of the bracket has 8nr holes to be drilled. Firstly you need a heavy duty drill or you’ll burn it out, secondly to drill 4 of these holes to the required 11 mm depth the wall chewed through (burned up) 2 x 14 mm diamond tip drill bits (~£6 each) (we drilled into the outside wall of a mid 60s red bricked house wall, it put up a fight and won for the most of it). Even after the effort 1 of the m8s snapped in the tightening process. Oh btw the m8 is confusing you don’t just pop it in the wall and it magically grips, you have to tighten the thread so the bolt opens inside the hole on tightening the end bracket. Even with 7 NR bolts in the bracket, the bracket passed the test by the labourer doing 10 x chin ups to prove its sturdiness (100kg+ guy). Only drawback is the bracket doesn’t give much wall clearance you are punching and the bag hits the wall, so I devised to punch it from side to side changing foot positions and kicking alike. Be prepared for a lot of dust from the resultant drilling.

Great boxing mount for the price. Recommend everyone to fix to wall with m10 rawlbolts. DO NOT USE m6 rawlbolts. Use m8 or m10!

This has survived almost a year outside in wind, rain, snow and sun and it's still going strong!

What is the measurement from the top row holes to the bottom row holes?

I'm quite a heavy hitter and this mount barely moves. Proper installation is key. Easy to install. Very sturdy. If your thinking of mounting to the wall. I'd recommend using a M8 80mm hex nut shield anchor. Raw plugs won't be any good. B&Q sell them in packs of 4 or you may be able to get them from any online resource.

Not a good design, upper bracket loosens and shakes easily. Rust set in quickly

Wall plugs & screws are excluded. The product has too many scratches that it doesn't looks like new. Got disappointed since my friend recommended decathlon brand in buying sports items.

We are using this bracket to support our 60kg bags and it really good and stable. We are very pleased with the strength and quality of the arm. Recommened 100%
