I just received my order and it is Polyester filled, no mention of down anywhere. This jacket has been incorrectly titled as a down jacket. Looks really nice but no point if it doesn't serve the purpose in freezing temperatures.
Good value for money but size age 3-4 fits our 2yr 9 month old - certainly won't fit him when he is 4.
Warm, cozy and superfit jacket!
My 5 year old son loves his new winter coat. Really good fit and, based on the fact that he had a similar version last year, should see him through to spring.
It is very warm coat and very confortable.
Great cost for kids, warm, snug and durable.
Thick warm coat and look good too. Best of both worlds. My girls love them and I am happy knowing they're warm whatever the weather. Also not too fat to get in a car seat like some coats.

The benefits of a "ball fiber" synthetic fill
The "ball fiber" fill is a good alternative to feathers: - It is made up of many fibers that can trap a lot of air, providing insulation from the cold - It provides good thermal insulation even when wet - It is easy care: machine washable
Water-repellent properties
Water-repellency is a feature obtained by applying a treatment that prevents water from adhering to the surface of the fabric. It "slides off" without being absorbed, so the garment remains lightweight, breathable, and warm. Be careful: This does not mean it’s waterproof. This treatment can be repeated to keep all its effectiveness. Use sprays that are applied to the outside, rather than additives used when washing the garment, which can damage the product's breathability.
Our environmental approach
Because we are aware that we must act to preserve our playground, Quechua is committed to limiting the environmental impact of its products. This padded jacket is not yet completely eco-designed, however we have chosen to use a recycled zipper to reduce our impact. The hood and sleeves are also filled with 90% recycled fibers Finally, the inside hood fleece lining is made from 100% recycled fibers

This rating is used to easily identify the products with the best environmental performance. This is done by making a comparison between products of the same family (e.g. backpacks).
