Ich habe die Kühlbox bestellt, weil sie eine der wenigen ist, die von der Höhe her unter das Schlafsystem in meinen Camper passt. Darum werde ich sie auch behalten. Sehr negativ: Decken und Oberkante sind extrem scharfkantig! Grate, an denen man sich leicht verletzt. Wundere mich, dass so was bei uns zugelassen ist? Und: Ich habe die Kühlleistung getestet. Sie hält bei weitem nicht so lange wie versprochen. Wo ist dann das Argument für den relativ hohen Preis für eine passive Kühlbox...? Kann eine für 20 Euro auch.

Die Kühlbox wurde von unseren Entwicklern ausführlich getestet. Sie wurde zur Hälfte befüllt und bei 32 °C Umgebungstemperatur dauerte es 13 Stunden, bis sich die Temperatur von 5 °C auf 15 °C erhöht hat. Mit einem Kühlakku lässt sich diese Zeit erhöhen.
Wir leiten dein Feedback an unsere Entwickler weiter und hoffen dich trotzdem als Kunde weiterhin begrĂĽĂźen zu dĂĽrfen.

We have laboratory tested this cooler at an ambient temperature of 90°F, without ice packs and half full. It took 13 hours to go from 23°F (food temperature straight from the fridge) to 59°F.By adding 3.3 lbs of ice, the time to go from 41°F to 59°F increased to 20 hours in the same conditions.

How to use
To increase the performance and durability of your cooler, we recommend you:- Put the ice packs in the base then place frozen food and raw meat in the bottom on the ice packs.- Put fresh food on top and/or those that don't need to be chilled, such as fresh fruit.- Fill the remainder of the cooler with other ice packs.- Leave your cooler in the shade and open only when necessary, then close quickly.
Product testing
EN Standard 12546-2 indicates the cooler’s performance without a cold pack.To comply with this standard, tests are carried out by an external laboratory. These tests consist of placing water at a temperature of 41°F into the cooler, which itself is placed in an environment of 90°F. The point is to then measure the time the water takes to reach a temperature of 59°F. The time measured for this cooler was 13 hours.
