Product Customer Reviews

I took this tent out for 3 nights, 4 days recently. The winds I experienced were 20-30mph sustained with gusts up to 45mph for the majority of the 4-day trip. There was a period of heavy wind-driven rain which lasted 8 hours. Not a drop of water got through into the living space. There was no condensation at all on the inner material throughout the entire trip. I experienced snow and low temps of 23f, highs of around 50. This is an amazing tent for the price. My only complaint is its really a 1 person tent though advertised as 2-man. I'm 6'2" and had to corner to corner my matress to fit properly. This tent took a beating for days and held up nicely. Its easy to set up, easy to stake and tie out, and fits in the bag easily. I traded the heavy steel stakes for lighter aluminum. I would recommend this tent as a great deal for the price. After the beating I went through this past trip I would say this tent is very very tough and definitely waterproof.
Great service, great product
This was purchased for a ten year old to use on a camp and it proved extremely easy to set up.
I have already used (and still have) it's predecessor model - been brilliant for over 40 weekend hikes, no damage/failure. So easy to setup (
Great small tent
Easy to put up and weather proof.
Product is good and affordable
This tent does not have enough ventilation for 2 people. If it rains choose one: fresh air or being dry.
This tent is flipping steady as a rock! Although it was challenged with a strong wind surge, bending it towards a 45 degrees angle during 2am in the morning, it stood as steady as a solid pyramid. Quality checked and ticked! Get it!
Just a nice and easy and practical tent - perfect for the use
Great little tent for one person. Very, very easy to put up and also very easy to take down and put back in it's bag.
1 solo walking/camping trip And my 23yr old daughter found it a great tent easy to put up and down. With a weight that was manageable
My grandson like it and can’t stop even using it indoors…
I bought this to take to a festival i worked. It didn’t rain so i can’t comment on if its waterproof but it was the nicest tent to sleep in. Didnt take up too much space and i could comfortably keep my weeks worth of stuff in it. It was a very easy tent to put up however the tent bag is a bit flimsy
The only critism I have is that its not clear on where to put the string and pegs.
Additional Product Information
Composition
Main fabric
- 25% Polyethylene low density
- 75% Polyester cationic
Pole
- 100% Fiberglass
Pitching/striking
Standard dome assembly: The bedroom is pitched with the poles, and the flysheet is then fastened on top. Reverse procedure when dismantling. If it is windy it is advisable to attach the guy ropes that are provided in the tent bag.
Mattress compatibility
We recommend you use the tent with the self-inflating or backpacking mattress measuring a maximum of 25.6" wide. We do not recommend the use of inflating mattresses over 2.4" thick in this tent due to the reduction in living space and resistance to condensation.
Ventilation
1 upper rear air vent. Correctly position the lateral tent pegs to maintain a space between the flysheet and the ground all around the tent. The good air circulation between the bedroom and the flysheet will limit the natural phenomenon of condensation.
Waterproofing
All Quechua tents are validated in a laboratory (whole tent under 200 L/hour for 3 hours), as well as in the field. (2,000 mm rated PU-coated polyester flysheet, 4.2 oz/m² polyethylene groundsheet, all seams sealed with thermobonded tape). A breathable polyester bedroom under the flysheet means you don't come into contact with the condensation that forms naturally on the inside of the flysheet.
Wind resistance
We test all of our tents in a wind tunnel on a rotating table to expose each side of the tent to the wind. A well-assembled tent with all the guy ropes properly deployed around the tent should remain habitable with a wind speed measured at 25 mph near the ground (Force 5).
Environmental benefit: why is your product gray?
Textile dyeing requires a lot of water but also produces waste water from the dye baths. To reduce this impact on the environment, we use only 1 mass-dyed thread out of every 2 (Bi-ton), reducing our consumption and our impact on water. So that's why your product is gray.
Warranty / after-sales service
As designers and users who love our playing field, we care about the durability of our products, that’s why all our tents are designed to be repairable. Spare parts and pole repairs are available from your Decathlon in-store workshop or on our website. If you have a problem, have your tent looked at in your nearest Decathlon shop.
The product contains:
- 1 bedroom - 1 waterproof flysheet - 2 poles - 7 tent pegs - 4 guy ropes

Great conditions for discussion, which is precious to gain your feedback and plan our new products!
