Product Customer Reviews

My 9YO son and I had a fun time setting up our tent, it was really simple with clear instructions
East to set up, good to withstand strong wind and rain. It needs 4 more pegs to hold 4 corner lines.
It's good
Camping pros might have there issues with this tent. But for me and my kids it's been brilliant. Used it over about 14 days, pitched it about 4 times, in the heat and the rain and had no issues at all. Easy to set up, takes 10 minutes max. Only just realised there's pockets on the inside and only just realised how to use the little door strap thing (I'm a camping noob 🤣).

Brilliant for price
Bought it for a 4 day trip to the lake district. Chose this tent due to it's low cost and size, and safe to say we were very impressed. We used the decathlon double air mattress, laying it horizontally to create space by the door. This made room for 2 bags, which we placed along the sides of the tent and an area to get in and out and change our shoes or put on coats, without needing to sit on the mattress. The netting on the inner tent wall is large enough to fit many different small items inside, like sunglasses, camera, car keys and chargers. The mesh feels strong enough to not be torn by anything that was placed in the pockets. The line that runs along the inner right wall was a late discovery during our trip, and it came in very useful. We slept with our heads at the other side of the tent, allowing us to hang our damp clothing as we slept. With the outside door closed there is space in the porch for a few pairs of shoes, keeping them out of the rain. The tent itself is good quality, and very easy to put up, and the unique bag makes it easy to pack away and fit back in. Keep in mind the guy ropes have to be tied on, but they are easily attached. The vents allow for adequate air flow eliminating any condensation inside the tent, something that I have experienced with many other tents. The doors smoothly zip closed and didn't get caught when being opened or closed. The only downside to the tent is that there seems to be no place to actually tie back the doors, there is a tie, but there is no where to attach it to. We overcame this by looping it through the guy rope loop. In future I would take a large binder clip to hold the outer door back by clipping it to the pole. In terms of durability, we had both days and nights of heavy rain and very strong wind, and the tent was not phased. The only thing we did was tighten the guy ropes in the mornings. We saw no leaks, and the tent wasn't flattened or bent by the wind. Additionally, anything put in the porch was kept dry. Overall it's an amazing little tent, very much worth the money. It's both user friendly, and includes loads of great features.
Nice, easy to assemble and pretty inexpensive. Only draw back is it is so bright inside. Will probably end up ordering the blackout tent.
Tent was ok but there were some things I did not like that would make it unusable for me. I tested it out by putting it up in my garden for 5 mins and that was enough to tell me it wouldn't work for me. The vent flap does not close. There is also no way to hold the outer door open if the inner mesh is closed. These were the main 2 things.
Bought prior to going wild camping with my partner for the first time in the Lake District. Was forecast for light showers throughout the night however turned out to be pretty heavy rain. Tent withstood all rain and wind very well.
Took this 3 man tent to Snowdonia this week, and it was the only one to survive Storm Francis during 60mph winds! I recommend attaching a guyrope to the outer vent, as this was the only thing affected by the high winds. Easy to put up, and take down, and a real survivor.

Additional Product Information
Composition
Main fabric: 75.0% Polyester, 25.0% Polyethylene ; Pole: 100.0% Glass Fiber
Why does biton help to reduce the environmental impact?
Textile dyeing requires a lot of water but also produces waste water from the dye baths. To reduce our impact on the environment, we use biton. One out of every two threads is dyed in bulk, thereby reducing our water consumption and water pollution. We chose to use this process on the flysheet of this tent.
Why does greige help to reduce the environmental impact?
Greige means that the fabric is not dyed and is in its raw colour state. Given the significant environmental impact of dyeing, we chose to use this process on bedroom of the tent.
Pitching and striking the tent
This tent has a classic dome structure. All you have to do is fit the tent poles with the bedroom, and then fit the flysheet on top. To strike the tent, the process is the same, but in reverse. If it is windy it is advisable to attach the guy ropes that are provided in the tent bag.
Mattress compatibility
Recommended tent with a self-inflating mattress or trekking mattress up to 65 cm wide. We do not recommend using inflatable mattresses, that are more than 8 cm thick, in this tent.Indeed, this greatly reduces the volume inside the tent and increases condensation inside.
Ventilation of the tent
So that air can flow and be replaced between the bedroom and the flysheet, and eliminate the natural condensation as much as possible, the tent has 1 air vent at the top.
Waterproofing of the tent
All our tents are validated in the laboratory and in the field to guarantee the waterproofing. To do this, we put the entire tent under a 200 L/h shower for 3 hours. The flysheet is made of 2000mm Schmerber PU-coated polyester and the groundsheet is made of 120g/m² polyethylene. All the seams are sealed with thermobonded tape.
Wind resistance
We test all our tents in a wind tunnel on a turntable to expose each side to the wind. A well-assembled tent with all the guy ropes properly deployed around the tent should remain habitable with a wind speed measured at 40 km/h near the ground (Force 5).
What does my product contain?
