reasonable price and good quality

Lace tying type shoes are a bit difficult for kids of this age group. Hence an velcro straps would have been better. Other wise, love the grip of the shoe. Great for hiking

Additional Product Information

Composition

Outer sole of: 100.0% Styrene Butadiene Styrene ; Upper of: 50.0% Polyurethane, 50.0% Polyester ; Lining and sock of: 50.0% Polyester, 50.0% Ethylene Vinyl Acetate

Sole grip

Sole design that has been the subject of extensive research in our laboratories, combined with a specific rubber formulation to optimize grip and traction. As needs are not the same, we systematically seek the best trade-off for progressing in both loose terrain and dry terrain.

Buying tips

Allow kids to try on both boots, standing up, with the socks worn for hiking. Check 2 comfort points: the base of the heel and the front part of the foot going down. Avoid all pressure points when trying boots on.Gradually start using you boots during your first few hiking trips to break them in. On the internet, you can print the pedometer and check the kid’s foot length.

Which size should i select

For hiking, do not hesitate to buy 1 size larger than the usual size to guarantee excellent comfort on the descent and to avoid toes rubbing at the tip of the boot. Tip: keep your toenails short, and before going downhill at any time, check that your laces are tight enough to stop your feet slipping down toward the front of the boots.

Product testing

Our design team is based at the foot of Mont Blanc, in Haute-Savoie (France). All year round, our designers create and develop products that are beautiful, simple, and technologically advanced. These are then ruthlessly tested in the field, as we remain convinced that only through rigorous testing under real world conditions, like the ones you will be using them in, can we continue to provide you with better products than ever.
