I've had this for about 3 months and was very impressed until the past couple of days. When the top was firmly screwed on, water leaked from the hinge. Won't be buying a new one.

Awful water bottle. I bought two and both leak. The shop refuses to exchange them as I can’t find the receipt despite them clearly being faulty. The original design with the screw on cap and rubber stopper were BRILLIANT. Best water bottle ever. Such a shame you’ve discontinued them. The new design is AWFUL if it was possible to give zero stars I would.

I needed larger volume for wild camping. It worked well on two expeditions so far. I’m slightly worried about the lid mechanism being robust but no issues yet.

Directions for use
Aluminium is not an insulating material. Use a specially designed, insulating bag if you want to keep liquids cool in your water bottle. This water bottle can be used for hot drinks but they will cool quickly. Also suitable for fizzy drinks.Do not use with fatty substances (dairy products, oils...) or acidic drinks (fruit juices, energy drinks). Do not put in microwave or freezer; do not expose to naked flames or other heat sources.
Functions
The top is easy to open with one hand by pressing on the white button marked PRESS. When carrying the flask, you can lock this button by sliding the white button down. A red area appears, indicating that the top is locked and it can no longer be pressed. It also has a filter so you can infuse fruits for example and a built-in resistant carry handle.
Care tips
Clean your water bottle after every use with conventional washing-up liquid and water. The product can also be put in the dishwasher if necessary. Allow the cap and bottle to dry separately. To clean your product thoroughly, leave it to soak overnight in a solution of water and bicarbonate of soda.
First use
Rinse the entire product 3 times with clear water before using for the first time.
