Already 3 pairs have…

My daughter already has 3 pairs, 29-30 and 31. Very good product for hiking in the mountains and forests in all weathers. Perfectly waterproof. Equipped like adults. I adore.

Excellent mountain boots, but also excellent city shoes in case of rain.

My son loves them...

My son loves them, we do a lot of walking, they are adapted to his foot and support his ankle well

I'm going to complain, the seam on the rubber hem has started to fray

I recommend

Nice prices, at a good price. The next one I bought in a larger size.

Less than 1 month old and boots in very poor condition

I purchased boots on 02/25/2024 worth €55. As you can see, the boots are torn at the front and the sole is worn. How is it possible that a product at this price has such limited durability and the child doesn't wear them every day? It has poor quality compared to what Decathlon has accustomed us to! I have photos with me of the condition of the boots!!!!!

It worked

I occasionally took it on a hike. It's comfortable, my feet didn't get cold in it. It can also be worn with thicker socks.

Since we had a good experience (2022 purchase), we just bought the same ones, just a few sizes bigger :-). the important thing is that they just sit on her leg and she feels good in them... :-)

bad

It is not what it seems, it is definitely waterproof. My son's feet were soaked in water. It didn't turn out the way I thought it would. It's a shame for the price I paid

Very comfortable and waterproof…

Additional Product Information

Composition

Outer sole of: 50.0% Polyurethane, 50.0% Butadiene Rubber ; Upper of: 55.0% Leather - Bovine - Split, 45.0% Polyester ; Lining and sock of: 100.0% Polyester

Sole grip

Sole design that has been the subject of extensive research in our laboratories, combined with a specific rubber formulation to optimize grip and traction. We always search for the best compromise for muddy and dry terrain since all needs are different.

Waterproofing test

Laboratory- and field-tested, these boots ensure optimal waterproofing and breathability. First, the boot is immersed in water while internal air pressure is applied to check that no bubbles form on the surface of the footwear. Next, the boots are fitted to a mechanical arm that simulates walking and half immersed in water so we can test that the inside of the boot remains perfectly dry.

Making waterproofing last longer

The waterproofing of boots is often compromised because water gets in at the collar of the boot. So to keep your feet dry for longer, it's advisable to use a waterproof gaiter or mini-gaiter that will prevent water as well as pebbles, sand, etc. from getting inside through the top. It is advisable to use a waterproof spray several times a year. This restores the original water-repellent properties and prevents staining.

Purchase advice

Have kids try on both boots standing up, with the socks used for hiking. Try on several styles and sizes if necessary. Check the following 2 areas of comfort: the base of the heel and the front part of the foot going down. There should be no compression points when fitting. Encourage kids to walk in them in the store. Kids should gradually wear in the boots during their 1st few hikes so that they conform to their feet.

Which size should you choose?

For hiking, do not hesitate to choose 1 size above your usual size to ensure optimal comfort when going downhill and prevent your toes from hitting the front of the boot. Tip: Keep your toenails short and, before descending, check that your lacing prevents your foot from sliding forward inside the boot.

Product testing

All our boots are tested in use near the Mont Blanc mountain range by the target users under the same conditions as they would experience in real-life use.
