The backpack has served me very well. I use it for my field studies (postgraduate studies in biology) and I have no complaints. I found it very pretty and comfortable. I have only used it a few times, so I can't say much about its strength and durability.

This backpack is wonderful
You can pack it super well, it has many external and internal pockets. The buckles hold well in a rush. :) The back is comfortable, it also has bracing.

It can hold the essentials well. It is suitable for hiking with porters because there are no straps on the bottom to tie the tent. It is suitable for short-term hiking of 2-3 days. If it is longer than that, it will not be enough.
The product is actually really good quality and beautiful. It would be better if it was just a little cheaper.

Waterproofing
The components of the bag are water-repellent so that you can temporarily continue walking/hiking in light rain. Caution: this backpack is not watertight/waterproof and it does not have a rain cover. If you want to continue walking/hiking in the rain and protect your belongings, we recommend the following model: ”20 to 40 L rain cover”, which can be viewed on our website, item reference 8734213.
How is volume measured?
The volume of each backpack is measured using a standard method: we fill the main compartment, as well as each pocket, with little balls. Then, we empty these balls into a graduated container, which gives the equivalent volume in litres.
How to adjust your backpack?
- Loosen all the straps (straps, belts, load adjuster straps), - Put on the backpack,- Tighten the shoulder straps,- Adjust the load adjuster straps as needed.
How to fill your backpack?
- Put your heavy items at the bottom. Pack your clothes around these items;- Keep your waterproof jacket and/or fleece within easy reach;- Place small items for the day (sun cream, map, glasses, etc.) in the pockets. ;- The flask can be placed in the side pockets designed for this.
Tested for optimal durability
We carry out several laboratory tests to validate the bag's components: fabric, buckles, straps, foam, zips. For example, for a fabric, we test resistance to abrasion and tearing, colour fastness when subject to UV light and washing, waterproofing. We also conduct tests to check the resistance of assembly using a dummy that reproduces the movements of a hiker to replicate several years of wear and tear on the bag.
