Very Good!

Very happy with this jacket. Kept me warm and the same time water proof. Tested it during a camp at Yarra Junction on a very cold day. Quality feels good too. Can't be any happier.

Perfect for my needs

I wanted a smart, light weight jacket for summer walks on variable weather days that I can easily store. This is perfect for my needs. It folds into it's own carry bag effortlessly and can be carried over/across my shoulders comfortably. When I want to wear it the jacket unpacks easily and doesn't appear crumpled as I thought it might. There's a nice inside pocket for my accessories and deep side pockets for my hands which is all I want as I already have trouser pockets. The only negligible downside is the hood doesn't have a peak so wearing glasses when it's raining can be a pain. Having looked at and tried on other jackets I chose this and I'm very happy I did so.

Great Waterproof

This is a very good waterproof that is as good as some of the well known brands around, the fit is good and has a good amount of pockets that keep your kit dry. The hood is a good fit when you have to use it.

Great Jacket

I use it for cold nights on the bike. But really nice quality to it so could be used for anything. Warm but breathable. Great jacket for the price!

Country walking Jackket

Great for cycling, Waterproof and comfortable The only thing I'm not sure about is the inside fastening, the cord is very long, and I'm not sure what to do about it, except tie it into a knot.

Good fit and best fitted hoods!

Fine if you have arms like an Orangutan...

The jacket seems ok. Time will tell to see how waterproof it is in the winter months. The fit is ok apart from the sleeves, they are way too long! probably about 6 inches in the case of my jacket. The cuffs on the sleeve are not elasticated enough too keep them in place, far too loose. If you have arms like an Orangutan then it'll be fine...

Additional Product Information

Composition

Main fabric: 100.0% Polyethylene Terephtalate ; Lining: 100.0% Polyethylene Terephtalate

Waterproof jacket

The fabric of this jacket has a waterproof rating of 2000mm.This jacket has passed our shower tests under 60L of water/m²/hour for 1h. It will protect you from light showers, or 2.5” of rain over 1h. We measure a fabric's resistance to water pressure, expressed in terms of the height of a water column in mm (based on the ISO811 standard). The higher the water pressure, the more waterproof the fabric. A component with a waterproof rating of 2000mm withstands the pressure by a 2000mm water column.

How to maintain your jacket's waterproof quality and durability

To maintain a durable water-repellent fabric, we recommend reactivating it regularly. Do this every 3 washes (it is important to rinse thoroughly) or after a dozen uses in the rain. You can easily reactivate the water repellent property by warming the fabric: - in a tumble dryer for 15 minutes (synthetics cycle) - with a hair dryer at a distance of 8” by going back and forth twice- or 2 passes with an iron on the delicate setting without the steam function.

Breathability

Our product's fabric is extremely breathable - 12 TER The breathability of a component is measured by its ”Thermal Evaporative Resistance”. This is its capacity to let out water vapor produced by the body during activity. The lower the Thermal Evaporative Resistance (TER), the higher the breathability of the fabric. TER < 9 = extremely breathable fabric RET <12 = very breathable fabric RET < 20 = breathable fabric RET > 20 = slightly to not at all breathable fabric.

How to choose your waterproof jacket according to your activity and your sporting effort

This rainproof jacket has been designed for a 2-hour hike at a pace of 3 mph at most, without elevation.During sports activity, the extent to which we perspire depends on the intensity or the duration of the physical effort. If the breathability of the fabric is not adapted to your physical activity, the perspiration vapor condenses inside the jacket. You feel damp inside—this is not rain coming through but perspiration vapor condensing. You need to choose a jacket according to your physical activity
