Product Customer Reviews
a little bulky but easy to put on and take off. comfortable to walk despite the entire foot being fixed.
Easy to put on, use and take off. Ideal for taking short walks off the trails.
I discovered snowshoeing this winter with this product. It's great to be able to wander off the trails. Easy to put on, take off and use.
I just returned from a week in the mountains, I went snowshoeing, they are light and easy to put on, I recommend
Walking is very natural on hard snow, I can even trot with it!. On the slopes, the grip is of course inferior to my SH 900 crampons but correct. In deep snow, with a large sieve for 75kg, they don't sink too much. I also liked the Velcro fasteners, they hold well and are easy to put on.
These are superb snowshoes where there is an established trail, but not for breaking trail at all! I use my bigger 'traditional' shoes for trail breaking. These shoes are light, tough, grip well even on steep terrain, and are very easy to put on and take off. I'm a big fan!
I tried these new snowshoes. I loved the handling, they are flexible and grippy. You can cross streams of pebbles without slipping. I recommend them. I'm so glad of my purchase.
Facile à mettre Easy to use
Tested beyond the polar circle...amazing!
Used for a one day outing..very good value for money thank you
Snowshoe great on snow and ice, Good grip on the feet
very satisfied, on the occasion of the sales I got them intrigued by the fact that they were soft (I have other classic techniques) and I found them very well, they limit them from getting stuck both in front and behind, you walk as well as if they weren't there or almost nothing and the shaped sole contains slips, fast and comfortable enveloping laces. also used on medium climbs on medium packed snow (Mera)
I was able to test them during our hikes in Norway, and I can say that they were very useful to me. Compact and light, we were able to transport them in our suitcases and once there, taking them on our backpacks with the nets sold separately by Decathlon was easy. Once you have your shoes on, you don't have any difficulty walking in the snow, whether it's powdery or icy. These snowshoes are great for occasional hiking trips (around 10km with 700m difference in altitude).
The product is good. Easy to put on and take off. Fits the purpose well.
Honestly very good, excellent value for money

How to use the sh100 easy snowshoes?
Before putting them on:There is a snowshoe for the left foot and one for the right foot, check you have the correct snowshoe on each foot. The rip-tab straps must be closed outwards. Adjustable:Your snowshoes must be properly adjusted to ensure your safety.1/ Your feet must reach the front end front to optimise shoe support.2/ The 3 rip-tab straps must be fully tightened.
Choose your snowshoes according to your weight:
Choose snowshoes depending on the weight of the wearer (including the weight of their backpack) to enable them to remain on the surface of the snow. This is what is known as lift. There are different sizes of snowshoes to adapt to all sizes and hiking practices. Our advice for the SH100 EASY snowshoe: 40 to 75 kg: medium deck, size M60 to 90 kg: large deck, size L
Sh100 easy snowshoe dimensions:
Size MWidth: 19cm.Length: 48cm.Size LWidth: 20cm.Length: 56 cm.
Using poles for increased stability when snowshoeing:
We strongly recommend that you use a pair of poles for better stability when snowshoeing. Especially if you intend to walk on slopes (uphill, downhill, etc.) or on powder snow where you may sink in more. There are 2 types of basket, choose large baskets so that the poles remain on the surface.
Choose breathable clothing for snowshoeing:
We tend to over-dress when hiking in the snow because we are afraid of the cold. However, you will heat up very quickly when snowshoeing.Adopt the 3 layer technique! This technique gives you warmth according to your level of effort: remove clothing when it is warm, put it back on when it is colder or during breaks. If you are too hot, you will perspire more, which will cool you down during breaks or when going downhill on a hike.
Dress using the 3-layer technique
To dress properly in winter, whatever your activity, we recommend using the 3-layer principle:layer 1: The high-tech base layer transfers moisture away from the body to keep your skin dry.layer 2: The second layer (fleece, sweater) provides warmth and transfers moisture outwards.layer 3: The jacket protects you from the outdoor conditions: rain, snow, wind. The whole outfit must be breathable in order to eliminate moisture.
Which footwear?
For snowshoeing, you need warm high hiking shoes that are waterproof and breathable. Also go for shoes with good grip for the areas where you will remove your snowshoes (on the car park or if there is not enough snow).
Never forget safety...
For off-piste hiking, make sure you are equipped with maps, a compass and/or GPS and carry an Avalanche Victim Detector, a shovel and a probe. These three pieces of equipment allow you to be found if you are caught in an avalanche, or look for a victim. And do not forget to revise your security basics.
