Product Customer Reviews

I wear size 10 or 10.5 if it's winter shoes and the 10.5 are way to long and still feel too narrow and the 9.5 are good on the length but painfully narrow just standing in them. Wish the shoes weren't so narrow and they had a size 10. I like them but they are very awkward shape and sizes
Inner furnish under toe cap is bad causing serious scratching to the toes when descend. This is even with a shoe size that's right (not undersize) and wearing a good quality hiking socks. Too bad that you can only find this out after a real test, and then you are not able to return the product as the return policy only accept unused products. Decathlon should improve the return policy.
Good pair of boots. They are confortable, waterproof and the price is fair. I would recommend them. The only downside is that the insulation is not enough for temperatures below 0, specially windy winter days.

Great price, good quality. Very comfortable
I’ve spent over $200 for hiking boots and still had wet feet. These keep my feet dry. Two thumbs up.

These boots have proven to be warm, light, and very comfortable to wear. No problems in the current cold stretch of -15 C weather. I've had them on for full workdays, no problems with cold, overheating, or sweat. We'll see what the durability is like in time, but so far, they are enjoyable to wear!

I was out in the aftermath of our first snow storm a few days ago 30cm +. shoveling most of the morning, feet were toasty and dry. best ever.
It’s OK. Nothing special but OK. Can be more comfortable or more soft.
Really confortables and affordable price. I am really happy how great they look. Great to do hiking and racketing.
It was light and safe to use.
I bought these in Nov 21 and they were great. The most comfortable boots I’ve ever had. However after 12 months of just dog walking in wet grass and light trails they’ve both started to leak. I noticed on the left boot the upper is separating from the sole at the base of the big toe and the right one at the base of the little toe. This has caused them to let water in. On the strength of my initial review my brother bought the same boots. His have already gone back for a refund and he’s bought another pair hoping these stay intact. I’ve still got the receipt so will be taking mine back in a few days. Unless the design has changed I’ll stick with a refund and look elsewhere. I love Decathlon’s gear and have a lot of clothing and accessories so disappointed these have failed on me. Shame as they’re such a great boot in terms of comfort.
Pleasantly surprised, lightweight but very comfortable, great value.

These waterproof and warm boots will provide you with very good hold for snowshoeing. the snowcontact sole
We have selected warm and insulating materials for this boot, providing good protection against snow and cold. We have tested it in the laboratory and in the field with our user representatives. We checked the temperature up to which it stays comfortable when you're stationary and when you're walking, as this varies a lot: 25°F when static and 3°F when moving. And we took into account how temperature is felt differently by men and women.
How do your boots protect you from outdoor conditions?
Your boots have been designed with a membrane to ensure optimal water-resistance. A membrane is a very thin component (5 to 25 micrometers) affixed to the inside of a fabric that prevents water from entering while allowing moisture to escape. While you stay warm in your boots, your feet will also stay dry. The sole insulates from the cold coming from contact with snow.
Breathable boots for optimal thermal comfort
Thermal comfort is a balance between the warmth of the boots and its ability to allow the foot to breathe. Too much heat or not enough breathability means that damp accumulates and cold can set in. We have designed your boots with your activity in mind, regular and sometimes intense, with a membrane whose role is to prevent water from entering on 1 side while allowing moisture to escape on the other.
How can you be sure your boots are 100% waterproof?
We made sure that your boots are waterproof by conducting laboratory tests to simulate walking with the boots half submerged in water. We also conducted field tests to measure wear and aging. During the waterproofing test, we test 3 levels of waterproofing: 2,000 flexes (about 2.5-mile walk), 4,000 flexes (about 5-mile walk), and 8,000 flexes (about 10-mile walk). This model of boot has been tested with up to 8,000 flexes, which is equivalent to 10 miles of walking.
What is the difference between traction and grip?
The grip of the boots is linked to the studs, their number and shape. Traction depends on the materials and ridges used on the soles, like your car's tires. Traction optimizes propulsion, prevents the boot from slipping backward when going uphill, and stabilizes the boot. Grip prevents the boot from slipping and skidding on smooth ground or in demanding conditions (rain, snow, ice) by giving grip to the sole.”
What is the purpose of the snowcontact technology on the soles of your boots?
The SNOWCONTACT soles are designed using a specific component and stud pattern (5 mm) to provide the best possible grip and traction. SNOWCONTACT soles are more effective than traditional soles on snow. When walking on ice, the only way to ensure optimum safety is to add anti-slip grips to your boots.
Why is it important to be supported in a hiking boot?
The support provided by your boot is essential for your comfort when walking. Indeed, good support optimizes your steps on hilly terrain (ascent and descent), prevents your foot from sliding in the boot, and reduces the occurrence of blisters. There is less loss in the transmission of your energy to the boot and therefore less fatigue. This is especially important when you are snowshoeing.
Are your boots suitable for snowshoeing?
We designed these boots for hiking on snow, with or without snowshoes. The upper of the boot (mid-height type) combined with gaiters (external or integrated in the pants), provides good protection against snow getting in. Waterproof and warm, their support and rigidity are more suitable for walking with snowshoes.
Will your boots withstand regular use over the long term?
Our engineers conduct laboratory tests to ensure that the product fully complies with your satisfaction in use. Our verifications include the following elements: tearing eyelets and straps, gluing, toxicology, UV-resistance, abrasion-resistance of outsole and upper components, accelerated aging.
