Teh shoes were very warm and comfortable. Water/snow proof. Provided a good grip in Snow.
My feet didn’t get wet at all and they were warm all the time. Not just great for the snow, also great for camping.

Bought these for a trip to the snow for tobogganing with the kids. Extremely comfy, nice and warm and did not slip on the snow and ice. Well worth the money.

Love the look of these super warm boots. But their soles are deadly slippery! Totally inappropriate for walking over trails. Unless you want to slip on leaves, sticks, rocks, slide through mud. Any other shoes we own have better grip in these conditions!
I was really disappointed at this product cause it had no support for the ankle, complete return.

I used theses boots for a average of 40 minutes a day. Not only is the soles very thin , you can feel the rocks under your feet cause the boots doesn’t have any cushion and they are not waterproof. I walk on snow, I avoid as much possible slush puddles and my feet get wet regardless of how much I try to avoid getting the boots wet. also please do not walk on ice with theses cause they don’t have any good grip, I fell and hit my head! thank god I didn’t get a concussion. Just very disappointed with this purchase!

This pair of boots offer a waterproof coverage around the foot and the toes, however the blue part of the fabric is not waterproof and may let the water/snow enter in case of intense weather.
Also, make sure not to be too hot in your shoes: it is possible to have wet foot after a walk especially if you are too hot and sweat a bit. We recommend thin wool socks to avoid too much moisture in the shoe, and stay warm.

Great boots! I wore them to the snowy hike and they were very warm and waterproof. Not too warm to make the feet sweaty - just perfectly balanced! They are also very cozy and provide a great grip. Really enjoy the style too!!!

Nice boots for price. I bought a size up so I could wear thick socks and add orthotics but they are a bit big. They are super cozy and comfy.
I wore these boots only on my property, walking less than an hour at a time, on a landscaped property (was self isolating per mandatory in New Brunswick). The boot were waiting for me when I arrived Nov 14, and it’s now 3 weeks later and the insole is already worn down to the sole material. I sent an email to Décathlon, and the response was this was regular wear and tear, nothing they will do. Under 20 hours of use is regular wear?

Measurement of the thermal insulation of our boots:
Based on the field and lab tests carried out to measure the perception of cold with a panel of users, we gauge the thermal insulation of our boots when stationary (static) and when moving (dynamic). It is now possible to know precisely up to what temperature your shoes protect you. The comfort temperature ratings are indicated for the boots. We take into account the differences in the perception of cold between men and women.
Boot impermeability test:
These boots, which have been tested in the laboratory, provide the best possible waterproofing. The boots are initially immersed in water with pressurized air inside to check for bubbles on the surface of the boot. Then they are placed on a mechanical arm simulating walking, half immersed in water. We then check if the inside of the boot remains perfectly dry. These laboratory tests are supplemented with wear and aging tests conducted in the field.
3 levels of waterproofing:
During the waterproofing tests, we test 3 levels of waterproofing, with 2000 flexes (approx. equivalent to a 2.5-mi walk), 4000 flexes (approx. equivalent to an 5-mi walk) and 8000 flexes (approx. equivalent to a 10-mi walk).
Level of impermeability of the boot:
This model of boot has been tested up to 4000 flexes, equivalent to 5 miles of walking.
Field tests:
This boot has been tested in the field in climatic conditions adapted to its use by hikers accompanied by the product manager. In particular, we analyze the technical elements of the boot to validate the product in relation to its specifications and the feedback that you send us.
