I have been using this parasol for the past 2 months. It is great and steady. I have also used it while camping, I tuck it in my camp chair and that gives good shade. I recommend.
…if you are on a stony or windy beach you will definitely need a metal spike. Not a plastic one. Otherwise it’s excellent. Very good sun protection, the side sections significantly increase the shade, which is genuinely cool, owing to the insulation.
Very good price for item
Used both as parasol and as wind breaker, does both well and comes with own storage bag with strap. When used as a windbreaker the additional side panels will need weights in the pockets provided to prevent them from flapping about. We used some stones found on the beach.

Great product,sturdy and completely does the job. Kept my grandaughter completely out of the sun and she loved it.
I bought this umbrella early in the year ready for the better weather. I love the beach but my body was wilting in the heat of the day. I bought this umbrella more in hope than expectation. This umbrella has in fact exeeded my expectations. It is utterly amazing. I took it away with me last week and even at the hottest part of the day I was able to feel cool under this interesting and innovative sun screened umbrella. The technology involved which prevents the UV Ray's from piercing the fabric really really works well. Now I can sit on the beach again. I cannot recommend this product highly enough. I don't know how long this high quality product might last. I hope it's a few years at least.
In the past we have used beach shelters and found them boiling if you want to sit in them and get some shade. The umbrella doesn't give quite the same protection but is much nicer to sit under and easier to put up. We haven't used the sides yet so can't comment on that.
We use it to play water games and even painting and craft work with our toddler. Easy to set up and clean up after use.

Sturdy umbrella with plenty of shade. Haven’t tried the side panels as the cover of the umbrella itself was enough. Lightweight and easy to carry.

Used it as recommended on Sentosa beach. No matter how we put it into the sand. Once wind blow it flies out. Could modiy ti make it wind proof

Sun protection
UPF 50+ component: blocks at least 98% of UVB rays and 95% of UVA. This guarantees effective protection from the sun.
Behavior when in the sun
Although this cover provides protection from the sun, phenomena such as reflections (from the water, sand, etc.), heat, time of day, etc., must be taken into account. The use of this shelter does not exempt the user from following the relevant advice: Wear a UV protection T-shirt, wear sunglasses, wear a hat or cap, regularly apply an appropriate sunblock, drink regularly, etc.
Adaptable
Comes with Wind Stop side walls attached by velcro to convert your beach umbrella into a beach shelter. Sand pockets keep the side panels on the ground.
Resistance to wind
The Windstop parasol's removable side panels make it wind-resistant. When these side panels are assembled and the pockets are filled sand, the parasol remains in place and is stable (base pushed into the sand, with pole inclined) and it can resist winds of up to 12 mph in this position, leaning into the wind. An orange screw-in base can be bought separately for wind resistance under the same conditions. In winds stronger than 12 mph, use the IWIKO shelter in winds up to 18 mph.
