Hi, I am right between sizes M and L for the Triban RC120 road bike. I am 5'11" and shorter legs with approximately a 31-32" inseam. What is the standover height for both the M and L frame for the RC120? Thank you

Question:

Is there a way to purchase a new front wheel? I was in a car accident and only my front wheel was damaged.

Answer:

For sure, the wheel is a stanard size and should be available at your local bike shop. The components are 100% standard and should be easy to find. If you want to re-use exisiting parts, you can ask your local bike shop to rebuild the wheel on a similar rim reusing your hub, and rotor if they were not damaged in the accident.

Excellent

icon-circle-checkmark verified purchase
A very good start

Bought in July 2021. So this is the 4th season. Mainly used in the city on paths, but often also on concrete slabs and gravel. I estimate that I made about 25-30 thousand on it. km. During this time, the brake cable broke. Prophylactically replaced chain and front crank. The front brake disc was replaced this season. Rubber only x2 for 4 years. Overall, the bike is very good, especially since it is treated like a workhorse. Due to the wide tires and wide handlebars, it looks a bit like a gravel bike. The microshift derailleurs are ok - I don't complain, although the precision of the Shimano deore/slx (I compare it to the mtb I have) is a bit lacking. In my opinion, if someone doesn't want to fight for hundredths of a second but wants to move very quickly, it's a great choice. I weigh 95 kg and the only issue is the brakes. Indeed, they could be more effective (again, I compare them, for example, to hydraulic Shimano in mtb). But I admit that I don't have time to take special care of them. I bought a bike as a trial bike or is the road bike really for me? But for now I'm not going to buy anything better. Finally: when winter comes and I have to switch to mtb, I feel real regret.

Excellent bike

Excellent bike

Very good

It is an excellent bike in terms of value for money. The only negative is that in the decathlon in Satu Mare there is no mechanic to adjust the shifter, the bike changes speed randomly while riding and I had to take it to a mechanic to make it OK. This happened to me with the other bike I purchased earlier. Otherwise the bike works very well, I did about 200 km in 2 weeks.

Truly happy 👌

Correct, except…

Correct, apart from the brakes which make a huge noise when braking, the adjustment needs to be reviewed

Having purchased the bike with scraping on the pedal, they were met with a water bottle, no pedal change, which they did easily the next day in San Giovanni Lupatoto

Versatile bike

I bought this bike in October 2022 I use it every day for cycling (10km per day) it is ideal with a luggage rack. I also use this bike for road bike outings, it's very good for starting the activity, it is sometimes a little heavy for the passes towards my home (Haute Savoie) but given the price it's worth it

Good price/performance ratio. The only limitation is the mechanical disc brakes which are difficult to adjust. Most likely everything will be much better as it settles down. However recommended.

RC120 DISC

First satisfactory outing, it goes much faster than a mountain bike, it's surprising! To see over time but for the moment the bike is very beautiful and practical, I am happy with my purchase. Hoping to never have to return to this positive review!

Unbeatable price Rc 120

Downside on the pro max front brakes!! Front derailleur took up some play quickly.. happy with my purchase transformed into Gravel…
