Really easy to set up and provides a very stable platform for saddle bag. Took this on a big trip in Spanish mountains in all conditions and had no problems. Harness makes it easy to load/unload each day. Very good value.
Can be attached very firmly. Criticisms: 1. Seat post attachment: a wider Velcro in the middle would be quicker to install and would reduce the required seat post length. The Velcro loop is very narrow (makes installation more difficult) and metal is unnecessary here (potential risk of scratches, weight). Tailfin shows or Quick Fist would be innovative. 2. Seat stay attachment: loops are innovative, but just as difficult to install as buckles. 3. Shape: the holster is very small, which means good tire clearance, but the pack sack has an odd shape (very pointed on the saddle side). A little bigger would be more compatible. 4. Pack sack attachment is more complex than Restrap.
I am delighted with my purchase! The harness is very well thought out, easy to install and adjust. With the waterproof pocket in addition I was able to leave serenely on two 3-day bike packing. I am really happy with my purchase, when the pocket is tight, it does not move an inch even with 3kg. I put my clothes, sandals, food in it but I did not see a tent or sleeping bag which must be attached elsewhere on the bike. I find the small elastics on the top super practical for slipping in your raincoat or sandwich 😉 I recommend this product!
Very good stuff, including the accompanying bag! A strong, stable, easy-to-fasten item.
(Used for a bike trip 1900km 16 days 16500m elevation gain) The bike bag that I found to be the best on the trip. The support never made me think it was unstable; it ties well with a well-designed system of laces, which can be tightened to have a firm grip and not dance. The incredible thing, then, is the ease and speed of putting on and taking off the bag despite this system. The support also seems durable, and does not get soaked in water.

In addition to its waterproof bag, the combo is fully waterproof, strong and easy to install. Large storage capacity.
good nickel product
The measurement specs on the website worked, it fits on my bike as expected. Used it on some really rough gravel trails with no issues, didn't loosen at all. Haven't used it much yet, but it seems pretty sturdy and well made. I also bought the bag that goes with it- though you'd be able to use other bags with it, the cone shape of the harness is kind of a weird shape, probably easiest to use the one designed for this harness.
Super comfortable!
The harness and bag do seem quite heavy, but let's face it, in bikepacking this is a secondary issue. On the other hand, the plastic construction of the walls is very stable and holds the bag well. The nice thing is that the bag can be easily removed and the harness stays with the bike. I can only compare it to the Topeak Backloader 15l - the Riverside is more stable and makes a more solid impression.
Very good product to use. BUT be careful, the scratch under the saddle tends to touch the shorts (maybe I have too big thighs...) which damaged two of my shorts. the scratch on the seat tube is not very well placed... Very good apart from this big problem.
Innovative decathlon system. But innovating does not mean simplifying. Let's say we need to get the hang of it. A little heavy and certainly more modular to make. But in itself, it has advantages once installed. Robust, it stays in place and does not move.
Very good saddle harness, the attachment system is easy to implement and does not wear out over the miles. It is very stable even when fully loaded. I particularly appreciate the spacer at the seat tube which prevents my thighs from touching while pedaling.
This has been seriously considered. And ideas from others were adopted left and right, but adapted in the right sense (read = improved). The explanation on the label inside speaks for itself. Once you have installed the harness, installing a waterproof saddle bag is very easy.
