This is my 1st road bike, having crossed over from foldies. Smooth shifting, decent weight (wind blew and toppled my bike while it was leaning against the railing by the river), good brakes (personally tested when i had to jam brake on a down slope as the light was changing to red). Beautiful bike.

Excellent value bike. Great for Long rides and a fast commute. Solid quality with Shimano 105 gears and shifters. The disc brakes work very well too. This has to be one of the best value bikes in Singapore!

$1000. What do you get? 1. Partial Shimano 105 2x11 groupset. 2. Tubeless ready 11 speed compatible wheelset. 3. Cable actuated hydraulic disc brakes. 4. Plentiful mounting points for racks and carriers. Compromises were to hit that price point, of course. QR skewers instead of Thru Axle. The TRP brakes were installed so they can use older, cheaper cable brifters instead of hydraulic. Externally routed cables makes it easier this cheaper for a factory line to set the bike compared to concealed cables. However, for what you do get, it's great. I do wish that you get more slack in the cables so getting a fit done would be so much easier.
Wow its amazing how quick you got your hands on the new RC TRIBAN 520 bike. Indeed its a great steal for the the price on this bike.
