Product Customer Reviews

Good solid tyre for the price
In my opinion the ResistProtect Nylon mesh does nothing. I unavoidably went over broken glass in the curbside with both front and rear tyres. The front tyre (a Schwalbe Durano race gaurd) was ok, the rear immediately got a 1cm long cut though to the innertube and punctured. I had no problem getting the tyre off to repair the tube, and it was fine in terms of grip and ride quality. I won't be buying another, I will stick to Schwalbe or Continental Gatorskins (which is what I just replaced it with)

These tyres certainly have a stiff bead! I found them very difficult to fit to my road bike and used two inner tubes in the process as it's very easy to nip the tubes in the effort to get the last bit of the tyre on the rim. Wouldn't want to try and fit them in a hurry out on the road! Haven't used them long enough yet to prove their puncture resistance though.
Have used them for more than 1500 kms and they are working fine. Not a single puncture till date.
Triban 100 earlier it has 32mm tyres, now store helper suggested this 25mm and its also very good, speed increases
A very good and value for money product. Puncture protection is very good.
The tyres developed small small minute cracks on both the side face . The tyres have been used less but it seems that the tyres will not even last long for next 100kms or so. I am afraid of riding my bike that the tyres will burst. Decathlon is not even responding to my issue online and on phone and i live 70kms from the nearest decathlon. Very bad product very bad customer care

Need better quality one.
I have completed my first brevet (200km) with these tyres as I have improved my speed because of it.
I purchased this tyre in Decathlon Perungudi Chennai last year March. I could see some cracks within a month usage and finally it got torn within a year. Is it possible to find replacement for this product?
Hello Arvind,
Thank you for taking your time to provide us your valuable feedback, this helps us improve continuously. I apologize that the product has not met your expectations. On the normal uses this should develop within one year period. But the cracks on tyre can be develop due to low air pressure. I request you to visit nearest decathlon store and meet our product adviser. They can help you in the further process.
I stay available for any further queries related to our products and services.

with lot of apprehension, I've gone ahead putting this onto my Maxie (Trek1.1), replacing the pair of worn-out Continental Gatorskin tyres. Happy to pull 1326 km already without a puncture. Fingers crossed. This may not be all weather testing though but for my commute, this is satisfactory performance given the good enough protection and acceptable rolling resistance at one-fourth price of that of ones at higher ends. I'm keeping one star reserved for testing in high temperatures & varied uses.
i have rode around 2k till now i didnt face any puncture issue and i sincerly request decathlon to get this product back to the stock
Wanted say thanks to Decathlon team and their sincere efforts for helping me. I went to decathlon store at Thane and got the replacement for faulty tyre. It was really a nice experience.
Product packaging and delivery was great. Initial inspection showed no obvious flaws. Installation was easy. I've used the tire for over a month now and it's looking good.
Decent performance and at this price it is a great buy.

How to measure tire wear
To measure the wear on your road treys and to know when they need replacing, you need to inspect the tread. Signs of wear include: - tread starting to fray - the appearance of a series of micro cracks - low tread depth - the carcass becomes visible. In all these cases the tire is worn and needs replacing.
How to remove a tire
To remove your tire, deflate the inner tube until no more air comes out. Once deflated, use a tire lever to remove the tire from the rim.
How to fit a tire
To put the tire back on, place one side of the tire into the rim. Next, inflate your inner tube to approximately 30% before putting it into the tire (inflating it beforehand reduces the risk of pinching the inner tube). Then insert the other side of the tire into the rim, starting on the side opposite the valve. Before inflating the inner tube all the way, check to make sure it isn't pinched between the tire and rim.
How to inflate your tire correctly
Inflate your tire carefully. The recommended pressure is indicated on the tire's sidewall and its product sheet (available online). Before each outing, make sure that your tires are at the correct pressure for your ride.
Tip from the pros
When inflating your tire, make sure you inflate it to the suitable pressure for the terrain you will be riding on and the weather conditions you will be riding in. When riding in rainy weather, lower the tire pressure to increase the tire's traction. On the other hand, when riding in dry weather, you can increase the pressure for better performance.
