Excellent bike for a newbie in road biking. Relatively heavy but can handle and can get used to it easily.

The Triban 100 is generally designed as a hybrid between road biking and gravel biking so it can handle much more knocks and knicks then a general road bike.
You can consider our Van Rysel road racing series if you want to invest more in road biking or our Triban road cycling series if you want to upgrade in the future.

Bike performs sufficiently for my needs for short commuting or leisure cycling along the park connector. The fit is also comfortable and not so much like very racer position. Quite upright sitting position for a road bike. The gear system is simple that it does not confuse me. If you're a beginner like me who wants to discover the joy of cycling, this is perfect that does not burst your wallet.

Bought this bike in Decathlon Pattaya last year. It is a excelent Hybrid Bike and perfect to cycle around Pattaya. Even on gravel roads it is no problem to get trough. To go very fast, there are maybe some gears missing. Also, if you hit a hole in the street the chain falling of the front chain ring. There should be a chain guide.

Esta bicicleta es ideal para todo aunque su potencial está en la ciudad. Su cuadro es muy cómodo y en lo particular se me hace muy cómoda. Quza le vendría bien una pequeña salpicadura para evitar mojarse.

Comfort-oriented frame geometry with a higher steering socket and a shorter top tube that offers a more upright position than a classic road frame. 6061 T6 aluminum sloping frame with semi-integrated headset. Frame weight, size M: 4 lbs.

Straight steel fork for greater comfort and precision. Aheadset 1"1/8 head tube that provides great strength and rigidity to the steering assembly.

Drivetrain
Indexed speed changes using 7-speed Shimano A050 shifter on the handlebar. Ergonomic and very comfortable: change speeds without letting go of the top part of the handlebar. This ergonomically-shaped lever fits the palm of your hand perfectly. Shimano Tourney 7-speed rear derailleur.
Crankset / cassette
Single chainring is easier to use and reduces weight significantly: 48 teeth. Cranks: 170 mm. Cassette: Shimano 14 x 34. Inspired by mountain bikes, the 34 Mega Range helps you manage your effort.
Brakes
Tektro RL 340 brake levers offering good grip and excellent rigidity.
Wheels
Double-walled wheels. Quick release attachment (9 mm) at the front for easy maneuvering and transport. Nut mount for the rear wheel.
Tires
Hybrid sport 700 x 32 tires. The tread has small studs for increased performance. The sides of the tires have larger studs for better grip in bends on consolidated or loose ground and on gravel.
Saddle / seat post
100 Sport Saddle Black Aluminum seat post. Diameter: 27.2 mm for added comfort thanks to its flexibility Length: 250 mm on XS / S 350 mm on M / L / XL
