Shoe very pleasant to wear with its thick foams. Not very practical, however, in rainy weather when travelling: the foams absorb a lot of water and never dry out. Good look Stem (top) very strong, it looks new after 5000 km. On the other hand, the sole is of poor quality, it is quickly destroyed with use if you have a little portage to do or if you use it for bikepacking and you walk a little with it.
My first ride with these shoes was 147 km, so I tested them over a relatively long distance. They are very comfortable, they last well, they have good ventilation and my soles didn't hurt. They meet all the needs of an amateur cyclist, and they also look good. I can only recommend them. .
bought 2 years ago, good product quite resistant, after two years it is still rigid. used every day by bike taf / public transport, nickel for walking you should not do 5km with either but allows you to walk in a station. The fit is comfortable and very suitable for wide feet. on the other hand, I will not use it for serious gravel and walking on rocks or dirt roads because the ankle can easily twist.... it all depends on your practice of gravel
While driving, the shoes are ok, I had no problems with comfort or lack of ventilation. The problems start when you get off the bike. The part of the sole that is in contact with the ground is made of very hard plastic, which makes the adhesion to anything that is not earth/mud/sand weak. Several times I slipped in them on dry cobblestones.
Very good product. The leather seems to be of good quality. The liner is very comfortable and wide enough. A very good value for money.
Comfortable shoes even on long distance
I cycle every day. On average 60 km per day. This is my third pair. The shoes fit well. One size larger not 44, but 45. The forefoot is spacious, but still firm. thicker socks in the winter and lighter socks in the summer. The only flaw is the wear on the right shoe. I'm left, so I keep my left foot on the pedal. I push off with the right foot. The difference between left and right is huge. Please make the bottom around the plates of firmer material. Hopefully the third pair will last longer than 1.5 years.
I have no experience with clipless pedals but this first purchase has been satisfying for the past 2 months. I had to return the first pair because the screw of the cleat turned out to have broken off after the 2nd ride (?!) The new pair is going well for the time being. Remarkable: the laces of the first pair were much nicer (thicker, higher quality) ... the second pair had some shabby thinner frayed laces that didn't tighten well. The instep flap is annoyingly in the way when putting on and tightening .... that it really could be constructively smarter .... by giving the flap a hinge function by means of stitching (which causes the flap to open). This shoe is pleasant for me personally because it is much wider at the forefoot than the average (shimano) shoe.
Comfortable and well finished excellent proportion between quality and price
I recommend I use in summer and winter are comfortable
These shoes really start to hurt after half an hour of cycling at the bottom of the feet
Meets my expectations. Perfect shoes for my short gravel hikes! (corresponds to my usual shoe size)
I was looking for a stiffer pair of bike shoes with SPD cleats to be used for road cycling. These are perfect for my needs. The cleats are recessed so I can walk in them. That are nice and stiff. The only slight negative comment I have is that they are a bit heavy. I am however very pleased with them.
I just started cycling they are very good as a first shoe
I already have my second shoe. I complained about it because the cleats on the heel break quickly. But does not restrict the use. I ordered some new buckles because one broke. In summer I sometimes have to take the last rest because I have a narrow/small instep. That's the only downside, but it doesn't limit me. I wore the shoe on tours for more than 10 hours and was satisfied, put a different sole in it and I'm completely satisfied. Ride it every day in the summer and has gotten wet and muddy on a number of occasions. Always grease (beeswax) it after the season, because I only drive it up to an outside temperature of 5 degrees. Leather is still supple and looks like new, even after 5000km. Recommendation from me is given in any case.
