Product Customer Reviews

I had only worn some rental harnesses when I decided to pick this up in 2019. Since then, I've looked at lots of other options, including some local brands that my friends swear by. I plan to stick with this Simond indefinitely. In fact, I almost bought another one despite my current harness is less than 2 years old. It's in great shape, I was just racking it in The Obed thinking about how much I like it and how I should snag another...for no reason. You might guess that I'm the type of person to buy the same t shirt 5x when I find one I like.. Some of the positives: - Feels sturdy. Some cheap harnesses can feel less secure to me when they don't have a stiffness to the belt. It doesn't dig in at all but it maintains it's shape well. - Gear loops are nicely shaped and there are 4 of them. A lot of my sport/tad friends have complaints about gear loops being too small or being oddly shaped, not me. I only climb sport so carrying a full rack of quickdraws, extra carabiners, etc. and they're easy to reach. I like that these are sturdy loops and can handle a ton of gear. Belay loop is nice too. - Affordable for a beginner or intermediate harness. Some locally-made harnesses cost 3x this. I am all about supporting small business but I didn't want to shell that out right away. - It's unique. I never have to guess which harness is mine. I don't have any complaints at all. I would love a different color option in the future but that would be a bonus. I took some time off during COVID but I wear it 2-3x/week indoors and then every 2 months outside. I've probably worn it 100x or more and it's in great shape. Great harness for me as a beginner/intermediate sport climber who climbs inside and outside.
I out-chonked my old harness and was struggling to find one from traditional rock climbing brands that was big enough for me and available in Canada (seriously, there was one other one I was able to find to fit my hip and thigh measurements). I'm super stoked that this fits me and will fit my plus sized friends who want to climb but have been excluded from the sport because of lack of equipment options. Pros: fully adjustable and the two adjustment points for the waist are great for keeping the harness symmetrical at both the biggest and smallest sizes. The colour options are super fun too! Cons: This isn't the *most* comfortable harness - the padding is light and the thigh straps are pretty thin considering the size it fits. I found it cut into my thigh a bit while belaying a friend who is 200 pounds and took lots of rests on the wall and imagine it would do the same if I was taking lots of rest on a climb. I also wouldn't be keen on using this for lead climbing as the attachment points for quickdraws aren't super sturdy Overall super happy with this and am recommending it to lots of people as a great entry level harness

Comfortable fit. Great harness
Ja moet echt goed opletten dat hij niet gepakt word wan ik heb er al zo 2 gehad en ze zijn alebij gestolen
Good fit, good sizing chart.
Happy with the colour and the fit, does its job.
As a climbing instructor based in side I wanted a comfy harness that I could wear most of the day without being uncomfortable. This harness has a generous sized padded waist band which doesn't rub or dig in after a while and leg loops are a good size As well. A nice bright colourful comfy harness.
Excellent value, well made harness. Good for indoors, sport or mountaineering, but for longer trad routes would be improved by a couple more gear loops. Impressed.
I got one of these for myself and one for my wife, reasonably priced and they do what we need.
Ecellent harness for aid climbing with the low price. Realy comfort.
Brilliant harness. Have used for boating and via Ferrata. Great value for money and comfortable.
Very very Good quality harness.
I will recommend
