Well built strong bike .
We purchased this bike in November 2020 as our son's 2020 Xmas 2020 gift. After 1 year of occasional use we have discovered that the chain is loose and jumps off the cogs during gear changes. My son has fallen whilst this has happened. Given this problem of the chain jumping we fail to see how this product could be used safely as a mountain bike on trails/ rough terrain. The most recent accident due to the chain jumping led to the front wheel being bent and the brakes damaged. Given it has been more than 1 year since purchase we took it to a local repair shop.. His verdict: that's what you get for a bike of that price!
I just picked up my son's new bicycle yesterday morning from your store. Yesterday afternoon while my son was riding the bicycle in the local park I noticed that my son's feet was coming off from the pedals very often. Today I decided to accompany my son, riding the bicycle in the local park as well. I was standing looking at my son when he suddenly stopped because the left pedal just fell down on the ground. He was riding the new bicycle on the tar surface inside the park. My son was very lucky that he didn't injure himself. He could easily have lost his balance. This is unacceptable. I tried to attach the pedal inside the park, but I couldn't do it. There was a loose piece of metal tread inside the area that was supposed to be attached to each other. I managed to fix it properly at home with my adjustable spanner.
