I rate Decathlon’s running wear and this jacket is no different. It’s well made with great detailing - watch window, grip around the waist to stop it riding up - it actually works. Offers good rain and wind protection. Well worth the money.
These are brilliant jackets - however upsize quite a bit as they were clearly tailored using Umpa Lumpas. I am a medium and needed XL. Yes, two returns later I got the correct size. Thank goodness for click ‘n’ collect at my local supermarket.
I really like this jacket, as all other reviewers say buy at least one size up! Aside from that I love it, easily seen and keeps me warm in the cold and dry in light rain, the vents work brilliantly and I almost always end up opening them mid way through a run to let some cool air in. Recommended.
Lovely jacket - good quality but man, are they on the small size. I do a lot of swimming and have broadish shoulders - I had to exchange twice to get an XL; all my other coats and jackets are an M.

Sorry to hear that you had a problem with this product,because I think that is one of our star products especially in the Cold protection range.
I use this jacket regulary and for me is really one of the best for my running in cold weather,regarding to the good protection but also this product is offering a good ventilation,it is very light and comfortable.
The problem with the zipper is maybe a production fault and we are happy to exchange this product for a new on in any of our stores.
Sorry for any inconvenience with this product,we are hoping that after exchange for the new one you can share again your experience.

This jacket is the best of it's kind I have found. Put simply, whilst not 100% waterproof, it is totally windproof and very breathable whilst being warm enough for some very cold runs. The vents are very effective at keeping you cool when you really push on, and the back mesh prevents any feelings of overheating. A great jacket for a bargain price.
Just been for a trail run in light rain and about 4 degrees C. Kept me comfortable and venting worked well. Looking forward to a v cold frosty run in this. Sizin* is crackers. I’m 6 ft slim 33 waist 40 chest. Normally medium but went for large based on other reviews. Felt like a small. Returned for an XL and that is far better if a bit big round the waist.

Excellent jacket to take the wind off you and some light showers. Your core stays nice and warm but your arms can get a little chilly initially. It's my go to for steady runs.
Was glad I tried this on in-store, as the sizing is a little unconvential. An "XL" was perfect for me. Normally, with a running jacket, I'd be a "M" or a "L" at a push. Went running in the jacket this afternoon and loved it. It kept me cool and well ventilated during the run. As importantly, it kept me warm before and after the run. Love the wee 'hand mit' sleeves. No need to wear running gloves now.
Good value jacket, stitching incomplete on the front left hand zip which I have done a diy repair on but which would result in the zip coming adrift if not rectified.
Fab Jacket - I'd been looking for ages for something new to wear for training - this is perfect. I thought It may be too hot, but works great, has zipped vents under the arms, good pockets, and does the job when raining too. really pleased with it. Needed to try it on to get best fit.
Have used this for a few weeks now and find it great in the harshest wind and rain, the vents are great to release heat as you warm up, and the hood stays on in wind

Run at the right temperature
To design this jacket, we studied thermal images of runners with the engineers at Oxylane Research. Based on this study, we added 2 technologies to make you as comfortable as possible using two technologies: - Stratermic Softshell technology that offers protection from wind and light rain while providing warmth - Equarea technology for better perspiration wicking across the whole body and especially around the arms and back.
Smart ventilation system
This jacket has a ventilation system to refresh the runner whenever they want. It has: - 2 side zippers that open according to the runner's arm movements.- several back openings to allow heat to escape.
Watch window
The left sleeve is open at the wrist to make it easier to read the information on your watch.
Easy storage
This jacket has 2 side pockets with zipper fastenings, one of which is equipped with a pocket for your smartphone.
Tightening
This jacket has an elasticated waistband for better insulation from the cold while guaranteeing good freedom of movement.
Thumb holes and hand protection
This jacket is equipped with thumb holes to better protect your hands from the cold; you also have a nifty system that allows you to cover your hands during your run.
