A truly brilliant semi-dry suit.. used in 20 degrees for long sessions.. really warm.. i normally wear a large but needed an extra large in this suit. plenty of give for bending etc.. good thing about it also is there is no sudden rush of water filling the suit like a wetsuit.
This is a very well made suit. A comfortable snug fit with little or no water ingress. My previous semi-dry was the Aqualung Iceland and this is every bit as good, if not better (time will tell). It has a Tizip shoulder entry zip that is waterproof. I've only snorkeled in it so far in cold 8C water for 40 mins and I was very warm by the end. I am totally confident this will be warm and snug when scuba diving, Flexible where needed especially in the knees. There's plenty of "bang for buck" with this suit at this price. It's a no brainer.

Neopren dobrý teplý v 6° jsem pociťoval chlad ale že bych mrznul to ne. Jediný mínus je zapínání to si člověk nezapne ani nerozepne sám, ale na druhou stranu buddy je vždy nablízku.
7mm neoprenu přinese potápěči příjemný tepelný komfort i ve větších hloubkách S neoprenem se dobře pohybuje, hezky padne na tělo Nevýhodou jsou bíle manžety, které se ušpiní téměř ihned od písku či bláta, je náročné je vyčistit a zbytečně kazí čistý vzhled neoprenu Zapínání neoprenu by mohlo být řešeno svisle, vodorovné je náročné i v případě buddy systému potápění, kde se to dá zvládnout, ale jedinec sám nebude téměř schopen zip zapnout a rozepnout Výborný poměr ceny - kvality

Meine Frau und ich haben uns diese Anzüge gekauft, um auch in den kälteren Monaten im Bodensee tauchen gehen zu können und wurden nicht enttäuscht: die Verarbeitung ist top und die erste Bewährungsprobe bei 12°C Wassertemperatur hat er auch schon erfolgreich hinter sich gebracht - zum einen wärmt das Innenfutter aus Flies wunderbar und zum anderen dichten die Gummimanschetten perfekt ab, sodass wir - anders als bei einem Nassanzug - keinen Wassereinstrom in den Anzug gespürt haben (obwohl dieser natürlich vorhanden war). Allerdings stimmt die Größentabelle nicht ganz und man sollte sich lieber für eine Nummer größer entscheiden.
Leider konnte ich diesen halbtrockenen Anzug noch nicht ausprobieren. Von seiner Verarbeitung her macht er einen tollen Eindruck und freue mich auf´s erste Mal.
Den Anzug habe ich im Herbst mehrfach im Bagersee getestet. Der Anzug hielt mich in allen Wassertiefen angenehm warm. Der Anzug ist während des Tauchgangs sehr angenehm und auch das An- und ausziehen geht problemlos. Der Reißverschluss schließt dicht ab. Bei 180 cm und 85 kg habe ich den Anzug in XL genommen - er passt perfekt. Klare Kaufempfehlung.
Ich verwende den Anzug seit 4 Wochen. Zuerst habe ich den Anzug bei 2 Grad Wassertemperatur in einem Bergsee verwendet und bin positiv überrascht. Auch verwende ich ihn für Höhlentauchgänge bei ca. 6-8 Grad Wassertemperatur mit trockenen Passagen. Hier stellt er für mich eine gute, kompakte Alternative für einen Trockentauchanzug dar. Bis jetzt ein robustes Produkt. Einziges Manko: Den horizontal zwischen den Schultern verlaufenden Reißverschluss kann ich alleine nur sehr schwer öffnen und schließen.
Der Tauchanzug war bisher in Gebrauch: eine Woche im Januar auf Malta eine Woche im März in Ägypten zwei Wochen im Mai in Spanien den Sommer über zur Ausbildung in deutschen Seen Der Anzug hielt mich bisher in allen Situationen angenehm warm. Der Reißverschluss ist dicht und schließt meiner Erfahrung nach deutlich besser als die Verschlüsse von Scubapro oder Waterproof. Bisher halten die Nähte und Doppelmanschetten absolut dicht. Bisher ist kein Farbverlust festzustellen, jedoch sind die roten aufgedruckten Design-Elemente an den Seiten (unterhalb der Achseln) ein wenig rissig. Die Gummiverstärkungen an den Knien haben einen Cut beim Wracktauchen gut abgefangen. Für den letzten Schliff wäre bei einem Nachfolgemodell eine integrierte Oberschenkel-Tasche, wie beim Scubapro NOVA Scotia oder Cressi Atlantis wünschenswert. Bei der Körpergröße 183 cm passt der Anzug in Größe L perfekt. Klare Kaufempfehlung!
Im Frühjahr habe ich mir dieses Anzug gekauft und bin seither sehr zufrieden. Es kommt fast kein Wasser rein (wenige Tropfen), er isoliert super. Ich bin 178cm groß und habe Größe L gewählt, passt gut. Bisher habe ich keine minuspunkte gefunden.

The suit is made from 7 mm stretch neoprene panels (with production tolerance). Distribution: Thermospan on the bust and back + plush (nylon loops) on the shoulders to increase the feeling of warmthSupratex on the knees for increased resistance to frictionStretch on the rest of the wetsuitSmooth Glideskin sleeves at the extremities and on the neck: the smooth part is to ensure it sticks to the skin and limits the inflow and circulation of water.
Watertight zipper and wetsuit assembly
The Tizip back zipper is fully watertight. You are advised to lubricate regularly with silicone grease to lengthen the zipper’s lifespan and to make the wetsuit easier to close. The seams of the suit and hood are waterproof, with a glued and blind-stitched (GBS) assembly: the neoprene is glued and then stitched for maximum resistance (the needle does not go all the way through the neoprene to prevent water from getting through).
Freedom of movement
1-piece with separate hood. Stretch neoprene side panels (very soft and stretchy neoprene) to adapt to fit different body shapes and suit various physiques. No underarm seams for easier arm movements. Pre-shaped cut on the arms and legs, with back arch for easier movements.
Hood
A separate 7 mm thick neoprene hood, with plush loop interior, that fits flat against the face with a preformed chin. The central gray band is made of stretch neoprene to best adapt to the shape of the head. Air Expulse system: a system to evacuate air bubbles trapped in the hood. It features a snap hook to attach it to the right thigh of the suit.
Getting the suit on and off
Double sleeves with zippers on the arms and legs for maximum comfort while getting dressed. The elongated pull cord makes it easier to close the back zipper.
Resistance to rubbing
Ergonomic reinforcements on the knees (Supratex) and reinforcement panels on the shoulders. These reinforcements limit the effects of friction related to the environment or the material. The interior seams are ended with patches to make them stronger. The GBS seams are made of nylon thread rather than polyester for greater resistance to wear. Grippy print at the wrist to prevent the dive computer from turning.
Thermal performance class
This scuba diving suit provides thermal protection that has been tested by the independent INPP institute (Marseille, France) in order to validate its compliance with the current standard (EN 14225-1:2017).CLASS B certified wetsuit. A (+7°C/+12°C/+45°F/+54°F) B (+10°C/+18°C/+50°F/+64°F) C (+16°C/+24°C/+61°F/+75°F) D (+22°C/+30°C/+72°F/+86°F).
What is a semi-dry suit?
The semi-dry suit works on the same principle as a wetsuit, except that the TiZIP concept back zipper is watertight. The cuffs prevent water from circulating. They are in fact clothes with low water circulation! The water is not renewed, which means there is less energy loss. Even if the body is wet, the main advantage of this wetsuit is that is keeps you warm when diving.
How to use a semi-dry suit
Put a little lukewarm water (with the aid of a Thermos flask) into your semi-dry suit before diving. This will reduce the squeeze effect: under the effects of pressure during the descent, air trapped in the suit from when it was put on gets compressed and can crush the neoprene, creating folds and leading to pinching of the skin. Remember to regularly lubricate the waterproof zipper with a non-fatty silicone lubricant.
