As with other products from Decathlon, this DSMB A.K.A. 'sausage' is high-quality, yet affordable. Brilliant international orange (not yellow - yellow is to signal "Emergency!") in color, with fold over single-seam & taped design makes this roll up cleanly and neatly, and the built-in 6m spooled line is adequate for deployment during the 3 minutes safety stop at 5m. Has a sturdy 1" D-ring where you can loop your own line through and shoot the sausage from greater depth. This way, the built-in spool and line acts a weight to keep the bottom submerged. Which brings me to my next point: This DSMB is not a sealed-bottom. The benefit is that you could easily use your exhausted air, the AAS/Octo, or your primary regulator to fill the sausage with air for deployment. However, there is no OPV to prevent bursting or oral/LPI tube to fill it from because this is an open bottom sausage, despite Decathlon marketing this product with "unique one-way valve". This product is misleading as the sausage will, and indeed, will deflate once it is not submerged in the water. Apart from that, this product is still good, and it's easier for newer divers to deploy. Even if you have fancy 7' sealed-bottom DSMB I'd still recommend this product to serve as a compact back-up - especially if there are divers on the boat that do not own DSMB or had forgotten theirs. That being said, I hope Decathlon will amend the information on this product. I have used this product for more than a year and the color is still brilliant and no wear and tear so far. I am however, a responsible diver that takes good care of my gear, but this product is robust and I foresee many many years of good use from this.

I like this buoy for its simplicity, and its ease of use: just inflate with you spare second stage. No valve, no oral inflation tube, just a simple open bottom. It is well made, sturdy and I like the velcro closure on the storage flap. But, two things need improvement: One: the plastic retaining clip is USELESS and therefore dangerous underwater, as it is too tight and too small: you would not be able to easily UNclip this from a D-ring! This would render the buoy useless under water, not a great idea. Solution: I cut this plastic clip off and replaced it with a proper stainless steel clip that will work reliably under water. TWO: that plastic 'spool' thingy is cute, but it seems like a great way to tangle your line under water, so I replaced that with a small stainless finger spool with 15m of line and a dual ended snap hook. Now I have a great SMB, easy and reliable to use.

Does just what it should, can't see why anyone would want to pay more!

Aunque no tiene válvula de desinflado cumple muy bien con el objetivo muy recomendable

Buena señalización para mostrar nuestra posición antes de salir del agua, para mi gusto podría traer un carrete para facilitar la recogida de la misma, por lo demas cumple todas las expectativas.

El color negro no se ve bien ni destaca sobre un fondo azul

Facile à utiliser tant au déploiement que pour le rangement. j'apprécie le rangement pour le plomb dans la pochette

On doit changé la corde (corde accheté chez decatahlon au rayon escalade) et mettre une masse plus importante pour que ce soit plus éfficace.

Un parachute au complet : parachute/corde / plomb .

Plomb en plastique donc qui ne coule pas, drisse trop fine.

Parachute et ficelle convenable et solide. Seul bémol le plomb est un peu léger. Dans l'ensemble fait le travail demandé.

Utile pour les exercise de plongée.
