Great
I ordered the S7-8 for my super lean 6 year old and it’s so very tight! Great in the body length but far too tight in the neck, arms and sleeves. I will buy the next size up but not convinced it will be drastically different and the bigger sizes are all unavailable. However the top with the matching shorts looks so lovely and super smart. Such a shame about the top sizing.

Vyzkoušeno u moře a naprostá spokojenost
Střih trička je extrémně úzký, zejména díra na hlavu. Tričko je z poměrně pevného materiálu, takže obepne trup a dobře drží. Bohužel se syn kompletně za necelé 2 dny nošení (moře + 1/2 dne bazén) osypal vyrážkou na celém trupu i přes každodenní proprání ve vlažné vodě a vymáchání. Takže ho nadále nemůže nosit.

mein Sohn hat normalerweise Gr. 128 und ist sehr schlank - habe extra nächst grössere Nummer bestellt, aber leider so eng geschnitten, dass er es sofort wieder ausziehen wollte.

Im Grunde genommen ein schönes UV-Shirt, das tut was es soll. Allerdings stinkt es bestialisch, wenn man Sonnencreme verwendet.
Mein Sohn ist 10Jahr und von der Statur sehr schlank. Ich habe dieses UV-Shirt in Gr. 12/13 & 14/15 bestellt.Wollte es etwas größer haben, damit es etwas luftiger ist, aber beide Größen sind vom Schnitt viel zu schmal & zu eng, liegt an wie eine zweite Haut! Auch der Halsausschnitt ist sehr eng, der Kopf passt fast nicht durch! Meinem Sohn ist dies viel zu eng & wenn das Shirt noch nass ist, wird man da nicht mehr raus bzw. rein kommen! Sehr schade, aber immer öfter kann ich beobachten, dass die Größenangaben bei Decathlon nicht stimmen, fallen immer kleiner aus! SEHR SCHADE, ohne Anprobe kann man bei Decathlon nicht mehr einkaufen! Da sollte sich Decathlon verbessern!

Die Größenangaben stellen gerade bei den Kindern eher eine grobe Angabe dar, da sich die Kids sehr unterscheiden - sei es die Körpergröße, -gewicht oder -statur. Wir werden euer Feedback auf alle Fälle an die zuständigen Produktmanager weitergeben.
Beachtet jedoch, dass gerade diese Shirts wie eine zweite Haut anliegen sollen, damit sie im Wasser nicht verrutschen und so bestmöglich dem Körper einen zusätzlichen Schutz bieten können.

Ich habe das Shirt extra aufgrund der Bewertungen extra in der Größe 131-140 bestellt obwohl mein Sohn aktuell gerade 122/128 trägt. Das Shirt ist sehr schmal geschnitten. Mein Sohn kommt nicht mal in das Shirt rein obwohl er sehr schmal ist (126 cm groß sind 22 kg schwer). Der Stoff und das Shirt sieht toll aus aber leider geht es zurück.

Ideal zum Schnorcheln
Minimal kleiner..aber das war zu erwarten. Alles gut.
Extra in 131-140 bestellt obwohl das Kind aktuell 128 trägt. Leider viel zu klein. Schade, das Shirt sieht wirklich toll aus.

Das Shirt ist schön, aber lang und sehr (sehr!!!) schmal. Passt unserem 7-jährigen (sonstige Größe ist 134/140) in Größe für 12 jährige nicht mal ansatzweise, schon den Kopf und Arme reinzuzwängen war fast nicht möglich. Und wir wissen ja, dass die Badesachen von Olaian 2-3 Nummern kleiner ausfallen. Shirt geht leider zurück.

How to choose your uv protection t-shirt (part 1)
All of our UV-resistant T-shirts are UPF 50+, i.e. they have the maximum level of sun protection. The choice between them will therefore be made based on the length of the sleeves and will depend on what it will be used for. Surfing has the most significant constraints so we decided to build our range primarily for surfing. For surfing, you will choose depending on the duration of your sessions: 1 hour, 2 hours, or 3 hours.
How to choose your uv protection t-shirt (part 2: according to the duration of the session)
1 hour: Occasional practice. You can choose between a loose fit (priority to ease of dressing and comfort when dry) or a fitted cut (priority to comfort when wet). A loop system to connect it to the shorts ensures the stability of the product.2 hours: Regular practice. Comfort when wet is enhanced by the seamless panels under the arms and the drawstring, which further increases stability.3 hours: Intensive practice. Additional warmth to help you stay in the water for longer.
Uv protection even when wet.
The fabric of this Olaian anti-UV product blocks at least 98% of UVB radiation and 95% of UVA (UPF 50+). This guarantees effective protection from the sun. It can be used both in and out of the water, for water or nautical sports. The density of the textile fibers filters out UV rays, for long-lasting protection, even after washing.
What does upf 50+ mean?
UPF is a sun protection factor (Ultra Violet Protection Factor) and is standardized worldwide. It defines the protection level of a fabric and more precisely the proportion of UV rays it lets through. To meet the standards, it must block at least 95% of UV rays. UPF 50+ means that the fabric blocks at least 95% of UVA and 98% of UVB rays.
Reduced chafing
This UV-resistant T-shirt helps limit rubbing and chafing due to contact with the surfboard or bodyboard. It can also be used under a diving suit to limit rubbing, particularly around the neck and armpits. We have added seamless panels under the arms to limit irritation due to paddling movements. Our test protocols confirmed that chafing was significantly reduced during 2-hour sessions.
Support and stability in the waves
This Olaian UV-resistant top has a drawstring at the hips. This lets you tighten the top so that it stays firmly in place. It has also been designed so that the drawstring of your boardshorts can be attached to it to stop the top from riding up while you surf.
Warmth and wind
The minimum water temperature recommended for the use of this UV-protection T-shirt is 72°F. Air temperature may increase or decrease this recommendation. Our thermal models (over 2 h) are made of either fleece, neoprene, or both. The presence of wind can have an impact that can be uncomfortable as soon as the wind exceeds 9 mph: In this case, choose a model with neoprene.
