Product Customer Reviews

Bought to wear prescription glasses underneath instead of non prescription goggles but visibility was so poor nothing really worked. Like the idea but need to try another time. Felt helmet was a little on the large size, despite adjusting.
This helmet was recommended to me by a skier. We struggled to find a helmet for my husband to wear with glasses - this was perfect ! Comfortable - you can change the visor for the conditions - and amazing value compared to the others out there.
Just returned from a holiday using this helmet, first two days were bright sunshinse and the helmet was ideal, allowing me to comfortably wear my glasses under the visor. Unfortunately the next two days were snow and flat light and I could not see a thing through the visor. No problem ,I thought, I will buy a yellow visor when I get home, sadly you can not buy any replacement visors for this helmet. This also means of course if you scratch or damage the visor the helmet is useless. A great shame as it looks and works really well in sunshine, but whar use is a ski helmet you can't wear if it is snowing:?
Bought for daughter who wears glasses so needs to keep them on to ski (she won’t do contacts). It looks good, fits well and the visor works fine. She’s skied in bright sunshine and full on snow and been happy with it.
Good helmet, fitted well, only issue was that the visor misted up.
I too encountered moisture issues on inside of visor. Initially, I removed the lower visor black padding, helps moisture drain out. Later, realised design needed a flange at visor down position, a flange at top so liquids could not drain inside visor. A fiddly job, but my solution: use zips ties (=cable ties in UK) to form a flange. First, draw pencil line across helmet at top pf visor in down position. Next, cut zip ties into about 30mm lengths, necessary as helmet surface is curved and straight lines on curved surfaces do not work. Commencing in centre, attach each zip tie strip in place using 2 small vertical bits of Duck Tape. I used grey tape, it looks quite nice. Have the strips about 2mm ABOVE your pencil line, to make sure the flange will be above top of visor in its lowered position. Then the slow bit: use more Duck Tape , this tome in say 40mm lengths, running horizontally, to secure the tie strips. My tape is 50mm wide, hence cut it lengthwise in half. Make sure you overlap the joins. Work all way round to visor holding rivets. Keep going, the original gap will fill up. It does not have to be perfectly tight all way round, I use just enough tape then tested on a rainy day. Rain did not get inside, at least in non-driven rain. My fix enables the helmet to be used in most usual snow, sleet & rain conditions.
I bought this helmet to enable me to wear my prescriptions sunglasses while skiing recently. The helmet spoiled the trip. Unfortunately there is a fault in the design of this helmet. When it snowed and rained the visor filled with water causing minimal visibility and making skiing in such conditions very difficult and unpleasant. I consequently returned the helmet to Decathlon who refunded the cost of the helmet to me.
Thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback. This is very helpful for us. I will make sure I pass it along to our product managers to work on improving this model.

I purchased this helmet for my husband and bought the pink version in store for myself, only afterwards did I read the reviews, which all said it was rubbish in the snow as snow gets on the inside of the visor making it difficult to see. So as a precaution I took ski goggles with me in case of need. WE FOUND NO PROBLEM WITH SNOW INSIDE THE VISOR, we skied in snowy conditions and in a white out, and had no issues with snow getting inside and we did not need our goggles. As it is a category S1 visor, it meant we did use sunglasses on the bright sunny days, my husband flipped the visor up where as I still lowered it over my sunglasses as I liked the feeling of the added protection in case I should fall. But it shows it is great for those that rely on spectacles to see with as can be worn with the helmet unlike some goggles that render your glasses useless. It was a great fit that is easily adjusted and extremely light weight and comfortable to wear.
Helmet is a wonderful fit and so much more comfortable than my last (which had hard ear covers). However, the box said that it was design to work best when snowing and my visor quickly filled up with snow, even when down, making visibility nearly impossible so I skied with the visor up instead. Snow in my eyes was better than trying to use the visor. Expect the same result if you fall (tried and tested). Still works beautifully in the sun but if you’re expecting snow remove the visor and take goggles instead.
Efficient helmet but pink version is better as not reflective layer on the visior. Visior not also stays in upper position, need to use a screwdriver on the slopes to fix it. Pink version tried is better.
Много удобна и лека!

Не е добро уплътнението, като размер на каската е този който съм закупила, но в случай, че вали сняг, маската се пълни със сняг от страна на лицето. Други забележки няма.

Flexibility
A specific "bad weather" yellow visor is available for sale on our website.
Special visor helmet feature
Visor helmets are very comfortable and practical to use. However, we recommend them to skiers who ski at moderate speed. Indeed the wind-proofness is less effective than that provided by ski goggles, which perfectly mold to your nose and face. If you ski very fast, air can get in and it can be unpleasant.
Tightening wheel
The tightening wheel plays a key role in ensuring that your helmet does not come off. This system enables easy and precise adjustment at any time using the easily accessible dial that you can even use with skiing gloves. It is comfortable in use and offers maximum safety. Turn the dial to the right to tighten and to the left to loosen.
In-mold construction
This type of construction called In-Mold has an outer shell made of polycarbonate that is molded directly to the EPS liner. The inner EPS lining absorbs the shock during impact. The whole thing is very lightweight. We recommend changing your ski helmet at least every 5 years if it hasn’t suffered a significant shock in the meantime.
Standard en 1077
Standard EN 1077 is a European standard that applies to helmets used for cranial protection during downhill skiing and snowboarding. This standard tests the ability to absorb shocks and resistance to penetration. There are 2 classes: - Class A: protects the top and back of the head as well as the ears and the side of the head. - Class B: Protects the top and back of the head, but does not cover the ears.
Size selection?
* Measure your head circumference in centimeters (around the middle of the forehead and just above the ears). * Then choose the size that covers this measurement. Example: if the circumference of your head is 22", try a 21.7" - 23.2" size helmet.
Fitting
Take plenty of time to try it on properly. It shouldn't feel at all annoying anywhere. If it does, try another model.
Helmet adjustment
During practice, the ski helmet must be properly fitted and adjusted: * It must be chosen at the right size. * The head circumference must be adjusted with the thumb wheel. * The chinstrap must be properly adjusted. It's a bit like the seat belt in a car: if it is too loose, it will not perform its function and you will be less well protected.
Safety
Avoid putting a thick hat under your helmet as this will move your helmet away from your head and you will be less well protected. Opt instead for a very thin beanie or balaclava that does not affect your safety. A helmet has good insulating properties. There is often no point in adding another layer. Also, avoid adding a camera to your helmet as this can affect safety. The standard does not take into account elements that are added to the helmet.
Compatibility with prescription glasses
The pleasures of skiing should be accessible to all, including those who wear prescription glasses. Wedze offers a helmet with a visor, more practical to use than "over glasses (OTG)" skiing goggles. Because of issues with the size of glasses, some models remain incompatible. Go to your Decathlon store to try on the helmet with your glasses.
Care instructions
Removable comfort foam machine-washable at 86°F.
After-sales service
Some spare parts for the helmet H 350 are available from the After Sales Service in our store workshop. The following are available: the original S3 visor and screw kit to fit the visor (screws and spacers).
Store returns
The helmets have a PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) classification. It cannot be exchanged. A ski helmet complies with a standard. We cannot guarantee that the purchased helmet has not undergone impact and therefore still complies with the standard.

Product testing
All Wedze products are tested under the real-life conditions of use for which they were designed: in the snow, the cold, and all the conditions that might be encountered when skiing. The design teams, product managers, engineers and pattern makers ensure that the program for which the product was designed and developed perfectly matches its use in the slopes.
Storage instructions
Do not store the helmet in a damp place, close to a source of heat or near UV rays. Dry thoroughly before storing, preferably in a fabric helmet bag.
