Product Customer Reviews

It tried in earnest yet but seems well made and certainly good value for money.
I got this helmet from Decathlon at Domancy near ST. Gervais in Feb 2020. The price was 35 Euros , about £30 .This gives better wide vision than goggles and is comfortable to wear around the nose. Excellent value!
Absolutely brilliant. I was going to buy new goggles but saw this and it fits perfectly with my glasses. Just used it for the first time and very impressed with every aspect.
We bought this helmet for our daughter who was going on a skiing holiday with the school. The weather was fantastic and that meant that the snow was too bright with the visor supplied. My son has a Bolle helmet and it came with two visors, one for poor light and one for bright sun. This was ideal for him because he wears glasses. The vision a skier gets through a helmet visor is far superior to what you get wearing googles and I would highly recommend a helmet with a visor, that said I believe that you need two visors, or at least the option to buy a second visor for different weather conditions. I did try to buy a second visor from Decathlon for sunny days, but I was told that there wasn't a visor available.
I was excited at the prospect of not having to buy separate helmet and goggles but it was a mistake. The helmet aspect of the product works really well, comfortable and sturdy. The visor though is terrible. I think because it doesn’t seal around the edges it lets snow in, it sticks to the plastic, piles up at the rubber edge and you can’t see anything. Very blurry vision at its best. I kept banging it trying to get rid of the snow but that would only remove the pile at the bottom, not the one stuck against the plastic, and anyway, more kept coming in so... Even in non snowing conditions it didn’t work as it got foggy. I definitely don’t recommend buying this product, spend a little more and buy separates.
Thank you for your feedback. I'm sorry to hear you had such a poor experience with this helmet.
I will make sure to pass all this information to our product designers and engineers. It will be useful for them to understand how to improve these types of helmets with visors.
Kind regards,
Tea
Bought two of these on the day we flew out to go skiing. We had called in to buy socks and goggles. Seeing these helmets on offer and knowing my old helmet had rust on the rivets we decided to get a pair of these. The helmet is light and fits most heads. The rear adjustment can rub at the base of the head if the helmet is too far back and the goggles can feel a bit restrictive on your nose if it’s rotated forward too much. The main reason for my delight is I wear glasses and they fit:) the goggles work really well in flat light conditions. To improve the package I would add a helmet bag as the goggles are a bit exposed when transporting
Comfortable but let in snow through top and sides so useless for half the skiing holiday.
Thank you for your feedback. You're not the first to have told us this so we're in the process of replacing this product with a more suitable model and visor. I'll make sure our teams know about your feedback as well. This is what helps us improve!
Have a nice evening,

FITS WELL CONSIDERING I HAVE A HUGE HEEEED
So much more convenient to have an attached visor rather than having goggles.
The helmet and visor have gaps on both sides. This allows snow to enter into the helmet and collects inside the visor rendering it useless in inclement weather.
Thank you for your feedback. I will pass it along to our product designers and engineers. It's very helpful for our teams to keep improving our products.
Have a nice day,
Tea
The helmets is lightweight and well ventilated perfect for skiing / snowboarding with the visor adding perfect conditions for low lights condition it looks very expensive helmets well worth getting
great value, brilliant fit
When it didn’t snow I was very pleased with the product, comfortable, warm, good fit round the lense, but when there was more than the odd snow flake it was utterly useless. I couldn’t see a thing. Snow was coming in at the top filling the inside of the mask. Gave up clearing it and skied back down the mountain with my visa up finishing for the day.
I'm sorry you didn't have a great experience with this product.
Thank you for sharing your feedback with you. I will share this insight with our product managers and engineers.

Does anyone know where I can purchase a replacement visor screw kit which is supposed to be available but where from?
2 ski trips with this helmet and I love it. I had been skiing in prescription wrap round sun glasses for a few years but they kept steaming up. I was looking at goggles with prescription inserts but they were going to cost +£100. I can wear my normal glasses under the visor with no issue. No steaming up at a fraction of the cost. Helmet is also really comfortable. Great product!

Flexibility
A specific "bad weather" yellow visor is available for sale online.
Special feature of the visor helmet
Visor helmets are very comfortable and practical to use. However, we recommend them to skiers who ski at moderate speed. They are less effective against the wind than ski goggles, which perfectly mold to your nose and face. If you ski very fast, air can get in and it can be unpleasant.
Tightening wheel
The adjustment dial plays a key role in ensuring that your helmet does not come off. This system enables easy and precise adjustment at any time using the easily accessible dial that you can even use with skiing gloves. It is comfortable in use and offers maximum safety. Turn the adjustment dial clockwise to tighten and counterclockwise to loosen.
Abs construction
This type of structure incorporates an outer shell, made of ABS, injection molded to withstand powerful impacts. It combines durability with a significant capacity to withstand bumps and blows. The internal EPS liner absorbs shocks in the event of a collision. We recommend changing your ski helmet at least every 5 years unless it has sustained a significant impact in the meantime.
Standard en 1077
EN 1077 is a European standard that applies to helmets used for cranial protection during downhill skiing and snowboarding. This standard tests the ability to absorb shocks and resistance to penetration. There are 2 classes: - Class A: Protects the top and back of the head as well as the ears and the side of the head .- Class B: Protects the top and back of the head, but does not cover the ears.
What size?
* Measure your head circumference in centimeters (around the middle of the forehead and just above the ears). * Then choose the size that covers this measurement. Example: if the circumference of your head is 22", try a 21.7" - 23.2" size helmet.
Fitting
Take plenty of time to try it on properly. It shouldn't bother you in any way. If it does, try another model.
Helmet adjustment
During practice, the ski helmet must be properly fitted and adjusted: * It is essential to choose the right size. * The head circumference must be adjusted using the thumb wheel. * The chinstrap must be properly adjusted. It's a bit like the seat belt in a car: if it is too loose, it will not perform its function and you won't be as well protected.
Safety
Avoid wearing a thick hat under your helmet as this will move your helmet away from your head and you will be less well protected. Opt instead for a very thin beanie or balaclava that does not affect your safety. A helmet has good insulating properties. There is often no point in adding anything else. Also, avoid adding a camera to your helmet as this can affect safety. The standard does not take into account any elements that are added to the helmet.
Compatibility with prescription glasses
The pleasures of skiing should be accessible to all, including those who wear prescription glasses. Wed'ze offers a helmet with a visor, more practical to use than "over glasses (OTG)" skiing goggles. Because of issues with the size of glasses, some models remain incompatible. Go to your Decathlon store to try on the helmet with your glasses.
Care instructions
Removable foam inserts machine-washable at 86°F.
After-sales service
Some spare parts for the FEEL 150 helmet are available from the After Sales Service in our store workshop. Available: the original S2 visor and screw kit to fit the visor (screws and spacers).
Store returns
The helmets have a PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) classification. They cannot be exchanged. A ski helmet complies with a standard. We cannot guarantee that the helmet purchased has not sustained an impact and therefore still complies with the standard.

Imported
Product testing
All Wed'ze products are tested under the actual conditions of use for which they were designed: the snow, the cold and all the conditions you're likely to encounter when skiing. The design teams, product managers, engineers and pattern makers check that the program for which the product was designed and developed perfectly matches its use in the field.
Storage instructions
Do not store the helmet in a damp place, close to a source of heat or near UV rays. Dry thoroughly before storing in a fabric helmet bag.
