Easybreath simplicity

If your snorkelling involves staying at the surface then this is a great option, not having a separate snorkel is a definite plus, and mine is a good fit. But I found it awkward if I wanted to go below the surface as the mask is hard to clear of water should it start to leak

Snorkel & Mask

I actually love decathlon it’s brill. I could spend all day there

Excellent product!

I have a fear of water, as well as not liking to get my face wet but wanted to try and join in with my family. Wow it has transformed me! The mask was brilliant, kept my face dry and it was as it says, easy to breathe. I highly recommend and can’t wait for my next snorkelling experience

Excellent service, arrived swiftly

Not used yet but looking forward to doing so. It looks to be good quality for the price paid

excellent for children

This was recommended by a friend so I bought one for my 10 and 12 year old children to test ahead of taking on holiday and they have spent the past 2 weeks using it in the paddling pool. Great for my daughter who struggles to use a snorkel. Already recommended to lots of friends.

So much better than snorkelling

I've tried snorkeling before and never got on with it despite being able to scuba dive. The full face mask and attached snorkel makes this such an easy and enjoyable experience! Would recommend highly

Just saw this product at a pool in Khaki all Thail

This is great, we are from Australia, have a boat live near the reef we are ordering 3 sets. Great for the reef and general purpose

A much better snorkelling experience

Great mask, which feels so much more natural to use and gives wonderful visibility. No fogging, no spluttering, just great fun snorkelling. Fins are comfortable and work well. Overall a great set.

The producer should add a warning on extended use

My holiday was destroyed due to a painful otitis media caused by extensive swimming/ diving while using the mask. The producer should add a warning regarding the pressure damage extensive use of the mask can cause to the internal ear Eustachian tubes. If you have a throat infection the mask should not be use to dive. As the ear will easily get infected due to the pressure difference.

Dear Cristian,

Thank you for your recent feedback. We hope that you feel better now. We will forward your opinion to the product manager to see if there was more similar issues during the use of our mask and if we should add additional warning to the product description.
Kind regards,

What is the size of the easybreath mask in the fins and easybreath mask kit?

If you choose a fin size between 36/37 and 40/41, the mask is delivered in size S/M, for a size between 42/43 and 46/47, the mask is delivered in size M/L. The Easybreath is available in 2 sizes. Children over the age of 10, teenagers and women should opt for the S/M size, and men for the M/L size. To choose the right size in store, tighten the mask so that it fits against your face. There should be no gap between your chin and the bottom of the mask.

Why can't you free dive with the easybreath mask?

The Easybreath mask contains much more air than a traditional mask. From depths of 40", the pressure of the mask on the face becomes very uncomfortable. When you free dive, you need to equalize the pressure afterward. However, with the Easybreath this is not possible because you cannot get at your nose.

Why isn't the snorkel of the easybreath very long?

Contrary to what some may think, the snorkel of the Easybreath sticks out of the water more than a traditional snorkel. A traditional snorkel seems longer because it starts from the mouth and not the top of the head like the Easybreath. To guarantee respiration that meets current standards, we cannot make the snorkel any longer.

Can i use the easybreath if i have a beard?

Beards can be responsible for letting in significant amounts of water. We advise users with beards to shave before using the Easybreath, because the beard hair can break the seal between the silicone skirt of the mask and your skin.

How does the exclusive anti-fogging concept work?

It works best in waters over 64°F and is based on the fact that the fresh air breathed in is projected onto the front window before reaching the nose or mouth. Moisture-laden air you exhale is evacuated through the silicone and plastic side connections that send the air out through the snorkel. In this way, the air constantly renewed. This is the same principle as the ventilation of your car windscreen.

How does the dry-top system stop water from entering?

It was developed to stop water from getting into the snorkel when there is choppy water, small waves on the surface or when the user leans their head too far forward to observe the seabed. There is a float in the snorkel that rises when you dive and blocks the tube. After diving, remember to blow out when returning to the surface to make sure that the float descends.

What precautions should i take with my easybreath mask?

Pay attention to sand! Avoid letting your Easybreath mask come into contact with sand as this can scratch the window of the mask. If sand is present, do not use force to clip the snorkel into place. Rinse the snorkel and mask before connecting them. Sand can also clog the float valve inside the snorkel. Rinse the snorkel vigorously or use a key that you can fit through the rear vents of the snorkel to unblock the float valve, then rinse the snorkel.

Can i repair my easybreath mask if it breaks?

YES, extend the lifespan of your Easybreath mask! After-sales service is available from the Workshop in your Decathlon store. Spare parts can also be purchased online with the following references: strap - 8316952, valve - 8363399, snorkel - 8342901, white cover - 8363395.

What is the difference between freediving and snorkeling?

At Subea, the Decathlon diving brand, we decided on a simple way to define the difference between our freediving and snorkeling products: From the moment you hold your breath and swim under the surface of the water even a few yards, it is freediving. Conversely, if one stays on the surface, this is snorkeling.

What is the subea brand?

Tribord Diving is now called SUBEA, the Decathlon brand dedicated to underwater sports (snorkeling, scuba diving, spearfishing and free-diving). The markings on all our diving products will gradually be replaced. Why SUBEA? Because: "SUBaquatic Experiences are Amazing"! For more information:
