Snowboard Defense Shorts 500

I thought that the padding on the hips on these shorts would be thicker than what it actually is. It looks reasonable in the picture, but in reality it is very thin. The rear portion protecting the base of the spine looks good. Other items I've bought from Decathlon have been excellent so I am somewhat disappointed with the shorts.

Worth every penny whilst learning to snowboard this year. Took the sting out of the inevitable falls. I now wear them whilst skiing, not so much for impact protection, but they are great for insulation when sitting on the snow.

I've thought of buying impact shorts for a couple of years and thought they were all too bulky and too expensive. These ones fit the bill perfectly (and yes I did land on my bum sometimes...). Definitely recommended.

Used once so far on a 4 day snowboarding trip. Decent enough padding to cushion the fall when you catch a heel edge. A little odd when sitting down for the first time but you soon get used to it. Thin padding on the sides don't seem much use. Caught a couple of edges and this definitely helped ease the blow. Good buy and i'll be using them next year.

Brilliant, thoroughly worth the money for the extra confidence they give when not on power snow. That little bit of padding certainly helps.

After my previous boarding holiday I decided to buy a pair of bump shorts, I purchased these and wore them all last wee during my winter holiday. The shorts were comfortable beneath my salopettes , the padding was firm enough to protect my back side when catching an edge without feeling uncomfortable whilst sitting down on the snow and ice to tighten my bindings.

After starting to learn snowboarding I realised most of my falls were backwards, and not to the wrists. I found these shorts especially useful for the first few days getting back on the slopes. I've fallen a few times on icy surfaces and while it still hurts a little, it has provided good protection.

As a competent skier I'm not accustomed to falling, however as I'm now learning to snowboard (having hurt my coccyx during a lesson) I decided to give these a go. On my recent holiday I wore these for the two days I snowboarder and can honestly say, What a difference! No coccyx pain at all despite a couple of hard tumbles. The hip protection is good too. Although when you first put them on they feel a little bulky you very quickly forget they're there (until you need the loo lol). I'm so pleased I bought them, they did a great job and for half the price of an average pair. Would totally recommend

Щом сте намерили този продукт, значи ще пробвате сноуборд, а 15 секунди след първото качване ще паднете по опашна кост и ще разберете защо този клин си заслужава всяка стотинка. Една идея твърд е и при сядане се усеща, но това е необходим компромис на фона на изтърсване с всичка сила по дупе без никаква защита, пистата не прощава.

Защитата за опашката е прекалено твърда. Вместо да предпазва при падане, прави точно обратното - набива дори повече. Изключително некомфортно при сядане. Опитът ми е при каране на сноуборд, при ски може и да е по-различно.

Учудващо удобни, добре защитават опашната кост. Запотяват малко повече от нормално.
