We know the impact our sport has on the environment and we are dedicated to reducing the impact of our products as much as possible in order to protect our playing field. This vest was developed with the following features:- 70% recycled wadding -Main fabric without fluoride -Dope-dyed yarn -Choice of a more durable component

Dyeing textiles uses lots of water, chemical products and energy. However, we enjoy wearing colour. To reduce this impact, we use the “Dope Dyed” technique where powder colour pigments are added when the yarn is produced (and not by soaking it in dye baths as is usually the case). This reduces consumption and the discharge of waste water from colouring our fabrics.

Despite our efforts, it's not always easy to reduce our impact as much as we would like. For this product, we are striving to:- Changing the main material to a recyclable material- Using dope dyeing for all of the materials.- Finding out how to waterproof a product using a recycled PU coating- Making the coating separable (or the same chemical composition) to facilitate recycling of the product

The environmental impact of the product is calculated over its entire life cycle and using various indicators. A score from A to E is given to help you easily identify the more eco-friendly products by comparing products of a similar type. To withstand bad weather (rain, snow, wind, etc.), the jacket has been developed with a component and assembly that keep the water out and reduce wind chill. The waterproof rating is measured by placing the product in a special shower that replicates the real-life conditions encountered by snowboarders during use. Finally, we have spent a few days snowboarding, in all conditions, to validate the waterproofing of the product.

In addition to the waterproof fabric, we reinforce the waterproofing of the jacket with taped seams. These are heat-bonded waterproof strips placed on the seams inside the clothing to make it perfectly watertight. For this product, all seams (100%) are waterproof.

All the Dreamscape snowboard products are tested in the real-life conditions of use for which they were designed: in the snow, cold and all the conditions encountered when snowboarding and skiing. Our design teams, product managers, engineers and pattern makers make sure that the programme for which the product is designed perfectly matches its use in the field.

It is better to store on a hanger and avoid folding to prevent damage to the membrane. Dry thoroughly before storing in a dry and well-ventilated place.
