This surpassed expectations- great size my kids are 13 and 15. Simple to set up and the net is not the usual nightmare to attach - it is tight and acts a bit like a rebound net. Thumbs up!
Goal was easy to put together and fits beautifully in our backyard. Combined with target and gives the kids excellent shooting practice.
Good quality. Easy to set up. Hooks could be more stable 2 of them have come loose. On the whole a good product though. Would be great if it came in a carry bag as transporting it is difficult.
Easy to assemble once the assembler understood the instructions. Sturdy and pegs into the ground. Our child has been able to hone his kicking skills and has been using in combination with the target practice banner. would recommend
When you buy goals you need quality and these do the job. Sturdy design, solid, they look good and they work very well!
The net is very easy to set up and the quality is perfect for training with friends or for leagues. The only down side is that it doesn’t come with a bag to organize the structure (I just bought a hockey bag to organize the net). In the end, I recommend it. Cheaper than anywhere else and better quality.

These are our 2nd set of Goals, we had a medium one 7 years ago, and we had to get bigger due to kids growing. Great goals, better than plastic ones. Great value for money.
We have had this for a few years now and still going strong. Decathlon went above and beyond to help get a replacement net after the foxes chewed the bottom. Thanks for the help, the kids are back out with the goal again.
Easy to assemble and robust enough for my 9 year old. However, the goal does not look 100% square. After measuring, one side was 5 cm higher than the other. After further inspection, the black centre uprights were different lengths. The side with Kipsta written on it measured 95 cm, whilst the other black post measures 1 metre.
We bought the large 9v9 goal thinking that we were future-proofing things for our 8yr old. He got the summer out of it (4months) before winter meant the garden was barely used. Now in March we've had some decent weather and the ball is back out. Couple of weeks of daily use and today my soon-to-be 9yr old hit a shot off the post. The ball struck the part of the post where 2 ends connect. It buckled and bent and actually tore! The 'metal' post ripped apart and the goals are now broken. Shame because the item was perfect for my needs but would seem not to be as stated in the 'durability' section of the description.
Very sturdy for the size and weight / post thickness, my son has been hammering balls up against it for days and it is coping well! I have Astro turf in the garden and had bought some sand bags to weight it down instead of using the supplied pegs but they are not necessary as the weight of the goal holds itself against the force of string shots, it will not tip backwards.

Design
We improved the Soccer Classic Goal, now called the SG 500, by taking into account your reviews. We improved this goal with the design team by providing pads for the posts, preventing contact with the ground.
Regulations
It's important to keep young soccer players safe while they play, which is why we have made this soccer ball that weighs less than 22 lbs and complies with French regulations.
Durability test
When designing the Classic Goal, we carried out tests specific to Kipsta that guarantee the durability, stability and safety of the product. For example, to assess a product's solidity, we perform load tests in our laboratory that reproduce the weight of a child. During this test, we apply a 140-lb load (for size L) to the goal to check that it doesn't deform.
Resistance and stability tests
To test the durability of the hooks that hold the net in place, we recently set up a fatigue test with the help of our test engineers to reproduce the net's behavior during a match. We were able to verify that, over the course of 5,000 cycles, the hooks didn't break. After observing soccer players on the pitch, we were inspired to develop tests for goal stability. This is why we perform a tipping test on our entire range of goals to make sure they can tip to 25° without going over.
