Stable Pilates Ball Size L designed for your pilates, strengthening, physical therapy, and stretching sessions.

Have you had enough of running after your ball?\nThe Gym Ball's weighted base ensures true stability between each exercise for optimal comfort.

Stronger back, flatter tummy, Pilates... it can also be used as a seat.

Burst resistance

If it gets punctured, don't worry - it goes down slowly.

The ball is compatible with most pumps using the tips provided.

The Gym Ball re-stabilizes between each exercise thanks to the weighted base.

How to choose your Gym Ball

- Size S: up to 1.65 m tall.
- Size M: between 1.65 and 1.85 m tall.
- Size L: over 1.85 m tall.

How do you inflate it to the right size?

When you pump up your ball for the first time, don't be afraid to over-inflate it. Sit on it and adjust the level of inflation (by slightly deflating it, if needed) to adjust the ball to your height. Your knees should be at the same height as your hips, or slightly lower. To save time, you can inflate your ball using the Gym Ball pump (sold separately).

Why choose a Stable Gym Ball?

More accessible than a classic ball, we have developed this Gym Ball with a weighted base to prevent it from rolling away between exercises, and thus allow you to maintain full concentration during your session. It is also easier to store - pretty practical, don't you think?

The team's tip

We've swapped our office chairs for a Gym Ball. The result: we've been working our abs and strengthening our backs each day, (almost) without realizing it.

The story behind this ball

2 years ago, Bruno, our Pilates accessories product manager, took physical therapy sessions for a herniated disc. His physical therapy included exercises with a Gym Ball. The ball, which rolled to the other end of the room between exercises, quickly gave him ideas. With advice from Dorian, his physical therapist, he developed this weighted Gym Ball.

What is proprioception?

Proprioception is your ability to perceive where your body is in space, whether consciously or not. It uses numerous receptors that tell your brain what position your various body parts are in. It affects your balance and reflexes. By doing regular exercise, you will improve your proprioception, gain mobility and reduce the risk of injury.

Did you know?

The Swiss Ball was originally created in 1963 by an Italian manufacturer, and was later used by a physiotherapist named Suzanne Klein based in Switzerland, which is where it got its name.
What we call the Gym Ball, commonly known as an exercise ball, was initially designed for medical treatment, particularly for back, orthopaedic and neurological disorders.
