It is a good mat that grips the floor perfectly. It is compact and easy to store or take it along to a yoga studio. However, I am dissatisfied with the top layer, my hands and feet slip due to sweat in case of power/hot yoga. So, I still need to keep a towel handy to wipe or use it on top of the mat in order to keep a good grip. It is not the value for money that I expected.

And it turns out that the pungent smell is not the natural rubber smell mentioned on the website. I was searching for the mat that will suit my needs, and this one is seriously perfect for dinamic yoga, and say goodbye forever to problems with slippy hands.. Provides excellent stability! Before buying it, I was reading reviews here, and some people mentioned smell, well, it does have a certain smell, but it doesn't bother me really, it's the usual rubber smell...
