Nice product, affordable

the fastening for this weight not really working have a suggestion perhaps make it like a sleeve to pull on over calf

The weights work brilliantly, BUT ... The Velcro-style fastening is the wrong way round. The spikey hooks are on the weights, and the fluffy part folds over the hooks. If one has a normal-size ankle, the spikey hooks are not covered and can damage clothing. Fortunately I have very slim ankles, so that the fluffy cover just goes over the spikey hooks, and protects them from coming into contact with trousers. This is important because I try to remember to wear these every day, and I do not want to walk around Waitrose in shorts or similar. I was wearing similar weights when warming up for a ballet exam, and damaged my tights, so that I had to change into another new pair just before I was called in to the exam studio. I only recommend these for people with slim ankles, or those who do not wear them with normal trousers.
Worked fine for a short while but very quickly the velcro started to catch on and tear the main fabric body of the product, pretty unavoidably. Eventually this tore through and ruptured the main fabric, spilling the ballast and making the product useless. All the wear and tear was caused by its own velcro catching the main fabric. Just stick to the 1kg ones, much better.

Good so far, seem to be well made as long as stitching is strong. Good, wide straps for fastening. Previous makes had too narrow straps.Comfortable when exercising. A fair price.

There is some looseness at the seams. The sand is “leaking” out. Not expected of a decathlon product. Also, allow an option of “No” for recommending the product.
