Quality of construction good and they behave really well in kite and windsurf footstraps (unlike many booties, which stick). The sole is definitely on the thinner side so these aren't really useful dinghy boots. Right thickness for surfing, kiting, windsurfing though. And overall pretty good. Two main issues if you're looking at using these in cooler water. One is that there's no gusset behind the zip so water pours in and out through the zip. Second is that the little velcro tab to hold the zip closed isn't really enough and the zip tends to open. Fine in the summer, but probably a problem when the water's cold.
Ich habe was ich wollte.
Der Schuh hält gut warm und fühlt sich super an, weich und bequem. Einziges kleines minus ist: Beim fahren mit dem Kiteboard drückt das äußere Gummi etwas. Zu sehen unter dem Tribord Schriftzug. Wenn dieses etwas dünner wäre, würde es mit Sicherheit mehr Tragekompfort auch beim fahren mit dem Kiteboard bedeuten. Ansonsten keine Beschwerden und vollkommen zufrieden mit dem Schuh!
Es gibt nichts zu meckern!
Die Sohle ist sehr dünn, es wäre hilfreich wenn das in der Beschreibung stehen würde, da für einige Untergründe diese Sohl sehr ungeeignet ist.

Buen producto
Cada año compro estas escarpines, pero esta vez he tenido que devolverlas después poco tiempo por que se han despegado varias partes ...
Hace seis años que uso estos escarpines para hacer windusrf en invierno y todavía los tengo enteros y funcionales. Se ajustan bien con las cintas con velcro, se cierran bien con la cremallera que no se baja, no patinan, són cómodos y resistentes. Yo no le puedo pedir más a unos escarpines.
Estos escarpines son cómodos y prácticos, cumpliendo perfectamente su función. Como puntos negativos, la diferencia entre tallas es excesiva y su resistencia al uso no es la ideal. En mi caso concreto, tengo dos pares. El de la talla 44/45 me queda algo suelto, lo que en deportes como el surf no es aconsejable. Son los primeros que compré, hará unos siete meses, y el del pie izquierdo ya tiene un pequeño agujero. Por otro lado, los de la talla 42/43 me quedan demasiado justos, haciendo que sean un poco incómodos. Si hubiera una talla 43/44 sería perfecto, aunque puede que los pequeños cedan un poco una vez que los empiece a usar, con lo que el problema se resolvería.
De todos los modelos de escarpines que teneis este es el que mas me ha gustado para surf, sujeta muy bien el pie y yo tengo el pie bastante delgado , no resbala , y ajusta bastante bien.
Totalmente adaptable a tofo tipo de pie , fenomenal seguro en la cremallera , formidable velcro para evitar deslizamiento dentro del pie a la vez que evita bolsas de agua , adecuada rigidez de suela para la impulsion y sobre todo perfecto diseño ....
Hace un año que lo uso por la vela y son muy resistente. No se han rotos.

How to choose the right boots
The first selection criterion when choosing a surf boot is the water temperature. Water temperature varies according to the location and the time of the year. Systematically make sure that the water temperature at your spot corresponds to the recommended temperature range: Warm water above 68°F. Temperate water between 62.6 and 71.6°F. Temperate water between 53.6 and 62.6°F. Very cold water between 44.6 and 53.6°F. Visit the site seatemperature.org to find out the temperature of your spot.
Choose the right size
Surfing shoes and booties should be a very tight fit to ensure the best possible thermal efficiency. It is perfectly normal to have the impression it is too tight when trying it on in a dry position. Choosing well-fitting shoes and booties ensures a better fit and prevents them swelling with water in use.
Neoprene: how does it work?
By trapping a thin layer of water around the body, a neoprene wetsuit works in two ways: 1. the trapped water gradually reheats2. heat transfer is reduced. The wetsuit and the thin covering of water form a layer of insulation.
Materials
4 mm surfing boots are made of neoprene to ensure better thermal insulation. The neoprene is lined with synthetic fabric for added resistance to wear. Neoprene thickness: 4 mm. Neoprene is a closed-cell polychloroprene elastomeric foam with trapped nitrogen bubbles that have insulating properties. We test and guarantee the thermal quality of our neoprene materials.
Watertight assembly
The seams are stitched and glued to ensure a watertight seal and durability. The seams are blind-stitched. The thread does not pass all the way through the neoprene, so water can't get through. The absence of threads on the inside avoids irritation and chafing. Patches for comfort and reinforcement are strategically placed on the inside in sensitive areas.
